Well, ultimately yes. Most gladiators back then were slaves and were sent to make their owners rich, so I'd argue they kinda were. But I'd love to hear your side.
not all gladiators were slaves, the correct term for non enslaved gladiators would be auctoratii, who were free people who chose to become gladiators for the glory and the prize, gladiators also rarely fought to the death, it was romanticized by hollywood and the western world that they did. most gladiator fights were until one side of the fight was too injured to continue where a referee would come in and stop the fight or they would give up which they were allowed to do.
Romans used convicts for cheap 'kill shows', but professional gladiators were expensive, training them was money and time consuming, so they did not fought to the death (usually). As normandyyy said, not all of them were slaves. They were entertainers, even some sort of celebrities. Imagine having a tennis tournament today where most of players are disqualified forever, so you have to train new ones for the next tournament... same with boxers and every other sport. who's gonna watch some newbies every time? People enjoyed watching quality fights, and you can't have them if you kill 90% of your best fighters every tournament.
Jordy doesn't have a Patreon, he only gets money through game sales. The game is planned to be in early access for a good while as he has a large roadmap of things to add to the game, and is shaping the game based around feedback.
Pretty fun but definitely has some physics jank to work out. Reminds me of a less-granular version of Exanima which isn't necessarily a bad thing, tho I highly recommend giving that game a shot if you enjoyed/are interested in this one.
You put the two parts in a single file and one of them must have a setup in it. The setup will require you to have the other file, so since you have it it will continue the setup normally.
Not everyone is old enough to remember, how archives merging kept piracy running on hostings with max file size limited before torrenting caught attention of masses.
Alright, I know you guys are sick of hearing the whole shebang of "guys if you like the game you should support it and buy it"
Though it makes a lot more sense here. Jordy, the developer of the game, is a College Professor who worked on the game for 7 years. By himself. Which is a hell of a feat, if you ask me. So maybe, throw a $20 his way some time? I think he's earned it with his effort, seeing as the game is quite fun and has a lot of soul to it. I playtested the game and it's certainly changed for the better. You should've seen the beta versions, they were pretty... mid.
But hey, if you've got feedback, I'm sure Jordy'd love to hear it! If you don't like the game because of a few things, be sure to let him know (kindly) and tell him on his Discord! Who knows, with a few fixes, patches, balanaces, you might like the game!
fatal error out of nowhere, which is weird I was playing it a month ago and it was fine. Tried deleting, re-downloading and extracting into my main drive same FATAL error crash.
I've had the same issue, Windows Defender is false Flaging a required file and remove it. You simply have to disable Windows Defender or Allow that "threat" by going into WD pannel, It happen frequently time, If a game won't launch just go check windows defender
Fatal Error Fix: Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection
Then click "Protection History". You might see that Windows Defender deleted the necessary crack files to run the game. Restore those files and the game will boot successfully.
That just means Jon didn't buy this game. It doesn't mean an updated cracked version wont show up @Maverick485. I see it all the time. I'll look around. 🙂
Yeah usually when a big-ish update comes out that is when less popular games get updated by Crack groups, if the game is not that popular they don't bother updating when it is just hotfixes updates.
Not really.

Should i put the second part in to the first part or something?
