Unpack the RAR, then unpack the second RAR, and you will have a new executable and a couple other files. Copy those directly into Scorn/Binaries/WinGDK and replace all three files. It should work.
Gave up on this version, downloaded GOG version instead, progressed into Act. 5 without any stuttering or crashing.
Just... don't expect AAA gameplay, combat is atrocious. Yeah that living gun looks cool, but 3 shots in the shotgun barrel with only 5 spare ammo? Are you fucking kidding me... I waited 8 years, was hoping for an extremely polished game, but sadly this game is made by human.

I played the GOG version, and that is much more stable. I finished it in one playthrough and enjoyed it a LOT. It's definitely a very slow game and it's puzzles are not that hard, honestly. They're quite intriguing and it's a fairly short game so I recommend playing it in one playthrough. Definitely a very fresh experience and I'm glad I finally got to play it

Windows Defender is blocking the installer. See the solution in my reply in the FAQ section to another member who had the exact same problem. I hope that this helps you~! 🙂
Scorn's on xbox gamepass guys, just sign up for a 1 month trial for $1 and problem solved. Can be downloaded or played via cloud and atleast you are supporting the Devs this way.
The game is basically unplayable if you manage to get past the first door, once you get to the big room with the tower in the middle the game just freezes for 5 seconds and unfreezes, also if you try to exit to the main menu you just crash.
Lucky for you, but this is by no means repeatable on my end and just continues to crash no matter how fast I try to get to a point where it won't, which ruins the enjoyment of the architecture and design.

My gog set up just freeze after it fully dowload (the dowload bar is full), i checked the task manager and it said the set up is not working. I tried delete and dowload again but still the same problem. can anyone help ?

I guess the constant autosaves the devs put in were to bandaid the crashing issue. lmao it's badly bugged play the GOG version it doesn't have the crashing issue or to the very least it's not as bad as the Steam version
A very pretty walking simulator, with a few puzzles thrown in. The game is basically, solve a simple puzzle to get a key that opens the path to another key which clears a passage to another puzzle that gets you a key that opens a door to another key, ad infinitum. Apparently the game is 5-6 hours long and there is some shooting in it at some point. I'm about 2 hours in and still no weapon found or enemy seen. On the plus side the game is well optimized.
Was freezing and being terminated constantly at first. Downloaded the crach fix (although I didn't realize it was here, just searched and found the sources) and now it is actually working. I'm still right at the beginning but hopeful this fixed all the issues, so everyone needs to get the crachfix.

This is a release of Razor1911, so it is completely virus free. Their installers are always getting false positive warnings by AVs, which happens to most people who are using inno setup to create the installer. The AVs are simply damn.
