I am Nidal Nijm, the solo developer of this game, Fursan al-Aqsa. First of all, I would like to thank all players who are playing my game, regardless the fact that you are pirating my game. As a game developer, being able to bring joy and entertainment for players is what motivates me to keep making games.
About this specific game, this is a long life dream for me. I am a Brazilian Muslim, son of a former Palestinian Resistance Fighter, and I always wanted to tell the story of my father, and the story of my people, the Palestinian people and their resistance against oppression. With this game I want to show to the whole world that Fighting for Freedom is NOT Terrorism, Fighting for Life is NOT Terrorism, Fighting for the Liberation of the Motherland is NOT Terrorism, Fighting the Oppressor and its Savagery, which kills children and innocent civilians, is NOT terrorism , that the Palestinian resistance is NOT terrorism!
This game is very important in the sense that it exposes the hypocrisy within the gaming industry by flipping western media, breaking the cliché of portraying Arabs as "Terrorists" and Americans/Israelis as "Heroes" by approaching the Israel-Palestine conflict from a Palestinian perspective, showing the bravery of the Palestinian Resistance against Israeli occupation.
I have been working on this game from a looooong time ago, since 2009. But the game passed by various prototypes and iterations, since I began making this game in a very old game engine called FPS Creator, until moving to Unreal Engine 3 in 2013-2014, but in August 2017 the game got its shape and basic framework. So the game, on it's actual form began it's development in 2017, and now, in April 2022, I was able to fully release it on Steam.
My game became very popular thanks to being covered by many Israeli Newspapers and Websites, last year, when many Israeli and Zionist Organizations began a worldwide campaign to ban my game from Steam, but they failed, because Steam respected my rights for freedom of creativity, and this could not be different, since many Pro-USA Military games like Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Six Days in Fallujah and others, are there on Steam.
Talking commercially, praise be to Allah (God), my game is selling well on Steam, it sold until now 1.525 units and a total of U$ 14.367,00 of net revenue. I am happy because the majority of solo published indie games don't earn past 10k dollars in a lifetime revenue, and my game is on steam just 6 months. However, this is not enough for me to earn my living, since I have a family to spend on their behalf (my wife, daughter, sisters and my father), and I am the only one able to work.
Yes my friend, and this players' positive reception and ratings is what motivates me to keep working on this game, updating it, creating more content for players keep enjoying Fursan al-Aqsa.
I have a job of web designer (https://www.wsdbrasil.com.br/), and I had many clients to whom I created websites and promoted their business on social media by creating marketing content. But after the COVID pandemics many of these clients closed their business, and cancelled their business contract with me. Now I only have 5 clients who pay me the half of a workers salary to keep using my services. But with the monthly sales of steam, I can at least pay my bills, praise be to Allah, however, even then, the Steam Sales each month is reducing. I think the worst problem is getting enough visibility for my game, specially because its controversial political content.
I am sure if IGN or Gamespot would cover my game, it would sell even more, but these portals and big media entertainment groups simply bow to Israel and Zionist domination (did you forget IGN's top executive's retreat for the editorial team posting their support for palestinian civilians last year???), so I doubt they will ever talk about my game. My game was showcased on some Indie Games Festivals last year, however, after the appearance of my game on Israeli News websites and all this campaign to ban my game, no Festival accepted my game again, that's the reason why this year it was not showcased anymore.
So I came here, humbly, asking, begging to you, PLEASE, DO NOT PIRATE MY GAME. BUY IT TO SUPPORT ME!!! Believe me, every unit sold on Steam trully helps me.
I will not blame any of you for pirating my game, since I myself used to pirate every game and every software I could. But now, after I began to work in the technology field, after I began to work on game development, I stopped to pirate games, softwares, rather, I even buy many indie games to support their creators, even though I hardly have some free time to play these games.

4- You will receive for free Fursan al-Aqsa Remake, which is a brand new version I am working on (because I moved now to Unreal Engine 4), with improved graphics, maps, animations, AI, and so on, and this Remake will be released as a free update over the actual game on Steam.

First of all, I appreciate your sincerity in answering my comment. You are free to hate my game, and if you think my game is not worth the price, ok, no problems. However, each month my game enters on steam weekly sales, and the price drops to U$ 10,00. Again, I am not forcing anyone to buy my game. Secondly, I do not believe that fighting or condemning piracy is the right way to avoid my game being pirated, I know that in many cases piracy can be another way to increase visibility, and at some extent, I feel happy that my game was pirated in the sense that no one pirates a game which is not very popular. My game is very easy to pirate since I did not use ANY kind of DRM, so to pirate my game you just need to copy the game files from steam folder to any other folder and run FursanAqsaLauncher.exe! That's it! So easy! Even those who buy and refund, if they copy the game's files to another drive, they can stay with the game, without paying for it!
If just one of those who pirated my game buy it, for me this will be a HUGE victory, and if no one buy it, no problem. I will continue working on my game and focusing on offering the best experience for all, pirates and non pirates.

About the graphics, yes, I know my game does not have next gen graphics, but this is for various reasons. First of all, I am from the idea that graphics are the less important thing for a game. Secondly, as I commented before, I used a very outdated game engine to develop this game, and my focus was to let EVERYONE be able to run this game, so I did not want to use too much high detail models and tetures since I wanted that this game run even on very low end pcs. And yes, my game looks like a half life mod, simply because I used purchased 3d models from assets store, and the majority of these models I bought there in 2009, 2010, whenever I began the development of this game. So my library of 3d assets is very old. Another important fact, is that I developed a homebrew port of this game to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, because some years ago I was able to fix a very old Unreal Engine 3 Source Code Leak which appeared on the web in the same leak of Gears of War 3 Source Code Leak there in 2011 (yes, I was a hacker also hahahah).
That source code leak was available on some old pirate gaming forums, but no one was ever able to fix, until me, from 2015 until 2017, I was able to get this to work (also many Playstation Scene Hackers helped me), in another project called UDK Ultimate Engine (do a google search), which made me become well known on the "obscure" side of gaming hahaha, but also I made many friends, and this was the first step for promoting my game Fursan al-Aqsa.

Also I give ya some idea you can try; _You can add function into your remake, button which change camera angle betwen first and third person angle, I aware that can cause some problems and aditional work, but it for certain can make your game much more intresting. _You can also add secrets in the form of findable computers, on them you can put some random story of other characters/places/things or make you game amazing by putting short top down minigames with your solidier (can look similar to this).

About toggle between FPS and TPS view, just like the original, it already exists on the Remake, but with Unreal Engine 4 I was able to make all these commands rebindable, so you can select which key does what.
I am sure Fursan al-Aqsa Remake will be everything I wanted the original to be but was not able to do due limitations of UDK Engine (Unreal Engine 3 Development Kit).

When clicking on "Launch Game" Button it says "Scripts are outdated. Would you like to rebuiild now?" If I press Yes, it pops up CMD and recompiles scripts. By relaunching game nothing happens after it puts me in window-mode for 1 sec. Same when reinstalling and using "No" for "Scripts are outdated. Would you like to rebuild now?"
Please read my message above. About the rebuilding of scripts, yes, you need to rebuild the scripts, then close the cmd window, then launch the game again and it will work, in sha Allah.

They think of themselfs as god ones, say and behave freindly, even belive in good things, but in the end they as everyone else are just monsters whom make other monsters.
If god in any form or shape truly exist then no wonder that he abandoned humans, no one with clear mind will side with such atrocious monsters as humans are.
