Hello! Many people are having the problem with text cut off at the top of the screen, just open Run Windlands Desktop With Param.bat instead of Winlands.exe.
Help! when I launched the game it was all broken and the text was cut off at the top of the screen and it erased all my previous progress in an earlier version! *Edit: now it won't even let me click start :'( 😭
My sincerest apologies, if anyone else should face this issue, it was relatively easily solved. 0.8 was uninstalled before installed Oculus Store 1.3, if the OR unit is unrecognized without a restart, unplug your unit, restart the pc, wait for the oculus software to boot up, plug in the device, everything works. Tested Windows 7.. I will also say that the DK2 on older hardware works really well, I would argue unless the graphics are newer looking than BF3 that you should be able to run, the DK2 at least, on older hardware.. I am running it on an oc I7 920 to 3.5 ghz, 24 gb ram, 2 560 ti sli, USB 2.0 with no jitter in any game or demo that I have ran sans the latest Windlands version, which produces slight Jitter when looking at a vast area heavily populated with 3D objects. Lucky's tale, reduced graphics alien isolation, neuro, from ashes, I expect you to die, doors of silence.. all run flawlessly. Thank you all for your time, I should of been more patient.
thank you so much igg, saw this game on youtube yesterday and thought it looked amazing i just didnt know if it would run well on my pc XD if it does its a definate purchase
