'cuz anyone with somebasic knowledge in coding can make a game nowadays. I'm not saying it's easy to make a good game, but just take an internet course on some coding language and game engine and you're up to go.

That's a possibility and it's definitely one way of filling the gaps of the lack of performance. Another possibility is simply a lack of regional trends and popularity OR the person is simply a memelord to the point of being out of touch. For the programmer's sake, hopefully the former.
