Hey can you please re-upload this (the link no longer works) , I am trying to play this game in preparation for the sequel and I'd like to play the best version of it. I am experiencing the name bug and I'm worried I'll experience the other bugs that people have mentioned. I would appreciate it a lot if you re-uploaded it as soon as possible whenever you have time.
if you ever aim to contact a user (the sure way) click their picture/avatar) if it pops up, you can see if they've been active recently. if not, then your SOL as this user is long since not been on in quite sometime in enough so, clicking on them doesn't come up.

ya will need a controller if ya create a character ... game works fine... but after several hours ... BGM would not play anymore and the game closes randomly
So, i've been struggling with this for 2 days now. It's about the name input in character creation bug. Short story is, you can do it just fine without the updates but sound and a few other smaller bugs are not fixed. With updates you can not input name and get stuck in character creation. Even if you input your name without the updates, save, and then update, you will lose your save game and if you make a backup of it it will say the save is corrupted so back to square one. After extensive search around the web i can say i tried every solution i found, not one worked. Virtual xbox controler didnt also (or at least it didnt for me). Now, this does not seem like a big problem to get fixed, can someone, for hecks sake, come foward with a solution after all these years please? I give up trying to bypass the name bug in this game, when I install the update i had to start from the beginning and the game with no updates have the dound so low it sucks, I'm unninstalling this game...

for those who are having the problem creating a name: delete the game then reinstall the game but don't install any of the updates and then play the tutorial and hopefully you can create a name this time.
Yeah, update 3 seems bugged on that part of the game. But players can still name their avatar with a "moniker," which is a list of pre-generated names in the game that players can choose from.

Yeah., but this game is the greatest. I love it, so much. <3 i can't wait to play it again and see who the game says is my love interest. because the game works in the background with that and you don't even know <3 the climbing is amazing! more games need that. it's so immersive and fluid, weapons and barter is so easy if a little bit different to what you might be used to in other games, and the look of everything<3 love. love. love. Capcom did a good job with this. They had better not screw up if they ever make a sequel or extra dlc for it.

Leaving this here for those interested in downloading and updating this game: For those of you who cannot name your characters after installing the updates, there's a very simple (and weird) solution to this issue. Credit goes to the users Julak Mizziot and Bryce Robert Bairrington as this solution was shared by them months ago, I'm just posting it up here for new people. 1- Download the base game and install it first. Installation takes a bit. BE SURE TO CRACK THIS AS SOON AS IT IS INSTALLED. 2- Navigate to your game's install directory. In my case it's C:\Games\Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen and copy DDDA.cdx, steam_api.cdx, steam_api.ini and steam_api.dll to another folder, anywhere will do as long as you're able to move them back into the game's directory later. These are the game's crack files. 3- Download Update 1 and install it, make sure you point it to your game's install directory. As friendly advice, do not install games into your Program Files folder. DO NOT COPY THE CRACK FILES OF THIS UPDATE 4- Download Update 2 and install it, make sure you point it to your game's install directory. DO NOT COPY THE CRACK FILES OF THIS UPDATE 5- Download Update 3 and install it, make sure you point it to your game's install directory. Once this update is installed, you want to go to the update's "CRACK" folder and copy ONLY "DDDA.exe" and "Launcher.exe" into your game's install directory. You may already have your answer, but just in case: All of the links on this site are interchangeable, meaning you can freely download links from any combination of download sites and they will work together just fine. Just make sure you have all 7 parts downloaded before you try to extract them.
Hello! I can't really type the name of my character so I always stuck there and can't play the game after tutorial. I did some researches and some player also facing this problem, but they said it will be fine after updated the game. However, I installed all the updates that you provided, I still can't type anything or even press any keys cuz it just no response. What should i do about that? thank you p.s. I also tried run as administrator... also the same
I also have to the same problem, but it only happen on my MSI laptop. When I installed on my desktop, it ended up working fine. My suggestion would be if you have another computer, just create a save file from that and transfer it over, so you skip the whole character creation process.
To all those who have problems installing make sure you have room and run the installer as admin. The installer will take some time even if it says 5min remain and ots been liek that for forever, it will finish as it takes around 30-50mins due to turning like 10gigs or what ever into 40+. After the game installs copy all the files expet the folder in the directory, called "Logs" and "nativePC", to another seperate folder. Run all the updates 1, 2, and 3. After all the updates are ran go back tot he directory folder for DD and then copy those files i mentioned elier back into the folder. Doing that will fix the nameing bug to some extent, as you might have to simply use the monikers instead. I tested this with each update one ata atime with all new games and everything works fine. so to make it clear i will make a list. 1-INstall the game 2-copy every file expt the folders mentioned above 3-run each update 4-copy the orignal files in step 2 back into the original location 5-profit If anyone needs any more help just respond and i will help as wella s a I can. Also part 6 all you need to do is just rename it to be the same as the pthers just with part 6 instad of part"whatever".
waited ~1hr and the game installed. it does take a long time so just wait. it also depends on the speed of your computer. i have a 7yr old laptop and it installed fine for me. so just wait it out and all will be ok.

Ok, I somehow managed to get it to work. After the game is installed, create a separate folder anywhere else, and move the crack which are both the steam_api. Then install all the update but don't copy the crack from the update folder. After that copy the DDDA.exe from update 3 into game folder. And finally copy back the crack from the separate folder. tl:dr dont copy steam_api, only move DDDA.exe.

yeah it's the same for me, i played on the version without updates and it worked just fine, but after installed all 3 updates im getting stuck in the character creation menu when i try to name my character. I searched the problem on the steam forums, but the fixes are not working
Disregard the comments about bitcoin miners and viruses. Download is clean. Scanned my system before and after install with a few AV's, not a single thing. Works well, took about 15-30 minutes to install.
I ran the setup.exe file file and I experienced the stuck at extracting archives problem but after... 2 Hours and 45 minutes it started to progress again but if anyone knows how to make it faster or can tell this to others who are experiencing this problem then thanks...

Dont download, includes Trojan, processed with maleware program. Not a false positive. It is not IGG-Games fault its seytar (the person who repacked it). Also may contain bitbot mining, and other viruses.
Hi Guys. Firts of all, the game really works. If someone has problems with virus, you should know that most of the av softwares acuse the cracks as viruses, when in really they are ok. The size is used by the compreession software, it alocates all the needeed space, and a lot more to assure the game will be precisely installed. And, finally, for those that are having problems with the infinite load after chimera, i found a solution on Steam foruns. I haven't tested yet (downloaded, but im at work now), so, if someone could try and give us a feedback, i would aprecciate.

You are totally full of shit. If you are a 20 year software engineer, you'd know why a cracked/modified exe gets flagged as a virus. Technically, it works like a virus to disable a game's copy protections. Virus and security software can't tell the difference because the functionality is the same, hence the false positive. And I don't care if you have 500 years of experience as a software engineer. Your knowledge and expertise isn't going to trump an entire warez community consisting of more people than you can count, many of them as knowledgeable or even more so than you. You familiar with the KMS activator for Office and Windows? Technically, it's a virus too. It'll get flagged by your security software but what it does is it targets the activation and authentication safeguards of Windows that Microsoft has in place to prevent piracy. It's not stealing your identity or your bank account information. Next time you decide to throw your weight around, get a little more informed about the stuff you're talking about instead of making a fool out of yourself.
This is very likely true...an anti virus searches by byte...so if that byte looks tampered or irregular it flags it...obviously a modified.exe will come up as tampered...look up steamstub...and you will understand more

Please help, I am getting an error message ISDone.dll start error, C://...../Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen/UNP.exe in the module ISExec! At that same time my antivirus removes a virus (Trojan.gen.smh attached too unp.exe). Setting up an exception in my antivirus then i will give an update
Install every Microsoft C++ redist you can, both x86 and x64. This fixed the issue for me. You need both even if you run a 64bit system as some programs run 32 bit.
stop the antivirus or malwarebytes because some file are false-positive (for example i stopped avast and anti-malware and then i haven't had any problems)

just curious where did the game source came from as the pre-order on steam not even release yet. how does the vocations work? do i get more later in game? because it's only started with three classic type as: fighter, strider and wizard.
i played this game for a very long time on Xbox... Yeah, as the other guys said you get to choose more vocations after the first quest (reach the camp). There are 3 advandced vocations:
warrior
ranger
sorcerer And 3 hybrid vocations:
mystic knight (fighter+wizard)
magic archer (strider+wizard) - my favourite
assassin (strider+warrior) Each class increases 1 or 2 stats every time you level up (HP, MP, Int, Agi, Str etc.). So if you want to be a good magic archer you may want to increase your MP and Int for your Magic Bow, but also strenght if you like using daggers. So you may start leveling up like this:
wizard (1-10)
sorcerer (10-200) Or:
wizard (1-10)
warrior (10-50)
sorcerer (50-200) But you're free to try different combinations because each class has a few passive abilities that can be carried over when switching class. So you may want abilities that increase your strength (given by fighter and warrior) and intelligence (mage, sorcerer). :D

The setup always fails, I've redownloaded it, ran as admin, resarted my pc, everything I can think of and I always get this message: An error occured: Unable to write data to disk! Unarc.dll returned an error code:-11 ERROR: archive data corrupted (decompression fails)
I think I've had that error before, if it's the error I'm thinking of, you solve it by doing random stuff like disabling shortcuts, installing to desktop, maybe compatibility mode, clicking where there is no button etc. when does it come up with that message?

He wants it to be in Japanese, and according to the Steam page it supports it, but maybe it only downloads it if your Steam is in Japanese, so you'll probably have to find another version
I haven't actually downloaded this game yet, but depending on the crack IGG have used you might be able to go into a text file and change everything that says English to Japanese
atleast your issue was simple. im having the issue the time remaining getting stuck at 4:15 left for over an hour. Just unpacking archives for over an hour.

I always enjoyed this game PC DESERVES this title its better suited for it I played the 360 version of the original I OWN it on PS3/4 :) (its cross compatible now) I want the pc one for three reasons ONE better graphics settings 2. I can record a proper LP of this much better and easier on the pc :) and 3. BECAUSE I LOVE THIS GAME! also I do hope this comes with the dlc also because it controls much better
ALL antiviruses report this as A FALSE POSITIVE! That Trojan has already been submitted to nortan,avast,avg, and a few others to the false positive list :) rest assured its not a virus its just how antiviruses think of a "nodvd" or crack file :)

Sure they do have one hell of a big god damn list of games. But people should stop believing IGG actually cracks the stuff released here, because that's completly false. This website is great. Hell, what would I be doing here if I didn't like it? What I'm saying is that they do not spend enough time verifying/repacking the (ripped) releases they upload. Sometimes there is even an unrequired steam_api.dll included (why not test before uploading?).... IGG-Games aims to have the most recent cracked games + a big catalog of cracked games that people can download easily, but it comes at the price of losing what's most important for it's users: quality content certified to work without any malwares included (doge.w0w in Ronin release anyone?). the timer is buggy the extractor is doing its job just fine but the ETA timer bugs out why I don't know but it works :) and its different for every pc cause it all depends on what you have under the hood MEMORY wise (ram) that highly effects Hard Drive speeds weather it be Solid State or Regular ones

Torrent repacks never crash for me :D...adn I think never crash in general....you must have a really bad conection to crash, unless its 8 year old torrents....CuZ thoose dont have seedes anymoore and you cant even start them.

You familiar with the KMS activator for Office and Windows? Technically, it's a virus too. It'll get flagged by your security software but what it does is it targets the activation and authentication safeguards of Windows that Microsoft has in place to prevent piracy. It's not stealing your identity or your bank account information.
Next time you decide to throw your weight around, get a little more informed about the stuff you're talking about instead of making a fool out of yourself.

Each class increases 1 or 2 stats every time you level up (HP, MP, Int, Agi, Str etc.).
So if you want to be a good magic archer you may want to increase your MP and Int for your Magic Bow, but also strenght if you like using daggers.
So you may start leveling up like this:

But you're free to try different combinations because each class has a few passive abilities that can be carried over when switching class.
So you may want abilities that increase your strength (given by fighter and warrior) and intelligence (mage, sorcerer).

i used this save file. and rename it to DDDA.sav at USER/YOURNAME/appsdata/roaming/steam/codex/367500/remote
it works for me and i play around 2hours and no problem so far.

Sure they do have one hell of a big god damn list of games.
But people should stop believing IGG actually cracks the stuff released here, because that's completly false.
This website is great. Hell, what would I be doing here if I didn't like it? What I'm saying is that they do not spend enough time verifying/repacking the (ripped) releases they upload.
Sometimes there is even an unrequired steam_api.dll included (why not test before uploading?).... Then people come here talking about stuff being "false positive" - Truth is that they just have no idea what they are talking about.
IGG-Games aims to have the most recent cracked games + a big catalog of cracked games that people can download easily, but it comes at the price of losing what's most important for it's users: quality content certified to work without any malwares included (doge.w0w in Ronin release anyone?).
This is a fact that simply cannot be denied anymore.
