Some people in comments from 6 months ago are talking about "fixed.exe" launcher. But there is no such file, and there is no tutorial on how to fix the "rdroid_gnome release build" error. Did anyone here fix that issue?
he might be talking about the Episode one thing... where it was like battles and rts ***not BF???) where you laned at Mose-isley and etc if you had a ship... THAT was ps2 - and ground troops where you had to caputer point for so many minutes etc... one map was the Naboo palace... the other was Moss issley (i want to say it was the OOOLD BF... but... that was more FPS)
Nope, he is talking about the sequel to this game (Episode 1 Racer) The Sequel is called Racer revenge, its a PS2 exclusive and very cool. Worth getting PS2 emulator for if you liked the first game. I have not tried that myself, i bought the game 2nd hand years ago for my PS2. very cool game
If i start the game from "fixex.exe" it crashes at the loading bar, and if i start it from the original, or "racer", textures wont load :( can someone tell me if there is a solution?
firstly game didn't work for me when i started with "fixed exe". then i started the game with race.exe, on the main game files, and i set graphism on 1024x700, and the game started, but with no texture loaded, like you. Then i starded again with fixed.exe and texture was loaded this time. hope it'll help you. And, if you have no sound in race, and a msg "no sound card detected" in sound option, just run the game as administrator, and get back to sound option to put the sound on. Good game by the way, and thks igg-games
I tried running compatibility mode, but it didn't work.
Graphics have aged very badly, but the game hasn't at all!
