If you meant in the game, at the end of the traller you can see several example.

If you mean IRL then... you must live in a Miami bubble.

Plastic Continent, reffering to this part where the is so much plastic on the top of water that it actually created some sort of land of plastic , like a country made of plastic

The ocean in general filled with plastic which each year bring tons of animan from the sea on the beach to die because they can't breah or lose sense of orientation

The temperature rising, this is the perfect season for that, where each year we beat new all time reccords and tons of people die due to lack of hydratation or overheating

To stay on the heat subject, it also lead to more and more Forest fire or Land Fire that destroy crops for humans, but also tree and natural habitat for animal (tou can see this in the trailer)

Tons of land destroyed by pollution (both physical polution and gaz pollution) which lead to tons of animal struggling to find food or shelter since that's not their usual habit ( you can see this in the trailer)

Over Hunting that destroyed tons of species that aside from the sad part of it, means it also destroyed a lot of food for other species, the natural food chain missing more and more link due to those extinction

Drought (tons of river that produce half their usual stream or part of water land like lake that no longer exist or to a very minimal size) that obviously impact naturel point of water for animals.

I mean I could go on and on, that's just from the top of my uneducated head.
You can claim that disaster are natural, that climate change is a natural process and our earth already knew several high heat period followed by ice ages and goes full complotist all you want
But those example remain factually correct.

"You can claim that disaster are natural, that climate change is a natural process and our earth already knew several high heat period followed by ice ages"

And that's exactly the point.

It's a natural process, but those 3-letter agencies ask us for more and more taxes and more and more sacrifices (which they don't and won't make, ever) because that way we'll prevent it. Which we can't.

Also, the "scientific facts", generously paid when their conclusions match their interests, have been quite sloppy since the 80's. Don't know how old you are, but I'm so to have heard first hand several prophecies:

  • In the 80's they said by 2000 the city where I live would be under the waves. I'm writing this from there right now.

  • In the 90's they said by 2020 the planet would be Waterworld.

Have you noticed the weather maps nowadays? Even if temperature is lower than that of other years, they paint it deep bloody red to scare us. Records? Zaragoza, a spanish city, broke them in the 30's by reaching 50 Celsius. Imagine it with today's mercenaries of disinformation.

And now:

  • Electric cars will "save the planet", but extracting the materials to build their batteries is way more contaminant than they tell us, batteries which will be have to deal with when their useful life ends. How and where?

  • We're told we have to save the planet by going back to the neolithic, but no one will dare tell China and India (who contaminate more than all other countries together) to do so. Specially to China, the Big Red Brother.

I could go on, too. But I concede the plastic thing, that's a huge problem. The thing is we won't solve it by putting an upper class autistic brat giving scripted speeches at the UN.

"And that's exactly the point."

And I won't even bother reading the rest.

Feel free to think I'm dumb and the alien invaded us in the 80's taking presidential role with their holographic technology, and there is ice age every 1.500 years so it's only natural we get one too.
After all the earth is flat.

No no no you're right, the earth is flat, that's why we are not allowed to go to South Pole , otherwise we would see the end of the planet and the void of space and see all those moon landing thing was bullshit
