i really hope this will get approved by the mods because i just want to have it sorted out and it will help people to feel safe when using this site.
On reddit i read some stuff about igggames being unsafe and inserting malware etc in their releases. Also one complaint was about igg inserting advertising into their games.
I myself am using this site for years now and i never noticed any of this, i am no expert so it may have flown under my radar but i am reasonably sure that i didn't catch anything really bad from this site.
About the adds, i wouldn't really mind (albeit i never noticed it, maybe the username being igg by default or such stuff) as it would not hurt me,

I found the solution for VR.😎 You have to create a shortcut of "F1_22.exe" and place it on the desktop, then right click on it and select "properties", go to the target line and add "-VR -FastLaunch" after F1_22.exe" Like this one: F1_22.exe" -VR -FastLaunch
They should be in Documents, My Games folder and F1 2022 folder. If F1 2022 folder isnt there, go to EA Games/Electronic Arts folder instead of My Games folder.
it doesnt start, game cant run no more.. always writes me error after i want to run game by exe file imeadiately writes me Application Error and The application was unable start correctly (0xc0000142) what does it mean how can i solve it?
DISCLAIMER: I doubt there will be no more updates as the game was released without crack protection after an update so thats how we got this crack and the crack protection is back so we cant get the newer updates.
it took me like 30 minutes of searching online and pressing keyboard then my friend told me and when i finally got it the game bugged the pitstop and i was just standing there for like 20 seconds and then just went out of there clipping through the pit crew still with the old tyres
There is an autosave folder. If you turn off the game and turn it on again, and you dont have any progress you made, its just that Controlled folder access blocked F1_2022.exe from accessing the save files. So you need to go to Controlled folder acces and Allow the app (F1_2022.exe).
For this to work with Quest 2 - Airlink This works fine over Airlink Open Oculus App - Library - Click the + Click 'Add it here', locate the F1 2022 executable and open Now find the F1 2022 you just added in Library Click on the 3 dots , select Edit In Launch options just type -vr Thats it, no scripts needed
WTF? I can't believe I spent so long downloading this only to find out it looks and runs like absolute trash in VR. Assetto Corsa looks a million times better and is actually playable at a high FPS. This game is totally blurry and looks like one of the worst VR games I've ever played, even with everything cranked up to ultra.
I had the same issue until I switched to TAA+AMD Fidelity (I think it was that off the top of my head) in the video settings in VR and then I switched off Dynamic Resolution and turned up the ASIO to whatever your system can handle. That made it way less blurry but It demands a good system at the end of the day, not unlike Green Hell VR.
That definitely helped a bit, but it's still really ugly compared to Assetto Corsa, and it's not even close. The performance is still pretty awful as well, and the stutter when you move your head makes the game almost unplayable.

Great stuff, sadly I cant get VR to start tryed a bunch of things: added to steam Libary started via SteamVR Airlink and Cable, started from desktop non seems to Work in VR any one got it working in VR ?
