So this finally worked for me: I went into "Options" in the launcher first, ticked "Fullscreen" and "exclusive Fullscreen" so i could set the resolution and the hertz according to my monitor (1920x1080, 60Hz). Then I unticked both "exclusive" and "fullscreen" so that its greyed out again, whilst the graphics settings are at low, closed the launcher, restarted it and started the game. Hopefully it works for you guys

the game always start at the last check point, even if i manually save the game or the auto save icon appears, if i exit the game and enter again all progress is lost until last check point, is that normal? if so, why include a manual save feature at all?
See if your hardware is working good not passing the 90% of usage in taskbar, maybe your pc is overheating, and then you get bluescreen. Or it could be something very very different
Oppps... of course, the last part is always smaller than the previous parts @_@... For example, the game size is 38GB, we would have the calculation: 43 / (5GB each part) = 7 Part (5GB) + Last Part (3GB)
It's easier to be mysterious the less you know about the entity. When it comes to Empress, even having the name in all caps makes it stand out and for a few almost intimidating. It wouldn't be a shocker to me if that's the intent to the point of being their brand.
Antivirus's tend to delete the EMP file which is the crack and without it game won't work. I suppose the only way to prevent your antivirus from deleting the EMP file is to make an exception for it in the settings.
Just download all parts. They have to be in the same folder. If you're done with all of them, you can extract from any of these parts because they are merged together. This is just because a single uploaded file is too big for most file host's(imagine the download would interrupt with large files)

This must be one of under 4 games that i couldnt get to run in like 20years of pirating stuff....
