Installed this on an old laptop error said "MSVCR100.dll" I thought the cause was the old low-end video card after doing research what I did was install:
Direct X
Framework
Visual C++ which are located in the game folder: SeriousSam_CommonRedist\DirectX SeriousSam_CommonRedist\DotNet SeriousSam_CommonRedist\vcredist Cause when I installed Visual C++ 2010 or 2015 from the official site there was an error during installation "unspecified error" (might not happen to you). After that I downloaded "MSVCR100.dll" from the site provided from the "Contact Me" section from this site, put it in C:\Windows\System32 (this is only for 32-bit read instructions in readme on how to install for 64-bit in the MSVCR100 zip file). Then ran either LAUNCHER or SeriousSam application from the Bin folder, game was laggy you have to change to low resolution then change again to higher resolution in order for it to run smooth on a low-end laptop, now game runs smooth. If the above methods won't work try updating your graphics (GPU) driver.
If it requires the VC redistributables, it'll require more than just that one file, it'll require MSVCP, MSVCRT, etc. It's easier to just install the redist from Microsoft than track down (a safe copy of) each one individually.
