Decent little game with nice fast paced combos and ok special effects but if your looking for something better thats sort of like this id check out Pure onyx , Seed of the dead 2 or Wars and Roses , all free an worth a look atleast specially war and roses if you like shooter/dating sim type games
different genre, seed of the dead 2 and war and roses are first person shooters and eromancer is a milking developer with no ethics plus pure onyx's gameplay is lacking
yea theyre diff types of course better ones than this imo , but to each theyre own , if you actually try em you may find you like em rather than just pointing out what u dont like about em at first glance , but feel free to name me off a few any type and ill check em out
As the guy said, none of those are beat em up's though. It's like if there's an erotic fishing game (God forbid) and you say, Bass Ass Simulator sucks and you should play this car racing and platformer game. But the guy is just looking for another good fish fucking game.
All joking aside, the only two games I can recommend right now in this style would of course be Holy Knight Ricca, Lord Knight Complex and Blazing Angel Mistletear. All of them are similar in terms of beat em' up gameplay. And since Steam considers this a beat em up, that's what I'm filing the others under, even though Complex had Castlevania elements and so does Ricca in some ways. Mistletear is an old school beat em up.
Nice i used to play castlevania at my cousins house on Nes when i was like 5 mostly theyed play it and id watch cause it was theyre system and they wanted to play it and wouldnt let me but after theyre house burnt down it was one of the few things to survive the fire and i was like 6 or so i took it and still have it behind me now brand new in the case almost also took a few burnt cookies that got cooked on top of theyre tv set in a jar and those were some of the best cookies i ever ate , i walked back home eating those cookies , Double dragon is still one of my fav games though today the remakes arent to bad either the level i had the most problems with was the rooftop helicopter level where they kept coming out of it
How? It's just a beat em up, which Japan usually does horribly in the eroge scene. They're usually cheap, not much to offer in terms of graphics and the controls are silly. The only beat em up aside from Holy Knight Ricca that I recommend from Japan is Blazing Angel Mistletear. And if you don't like that, then you are not familiar enough with the genre to give a proper rating of quality. I was around in the 90's with the arcade beat em ups. So I know what I'm talking about. This looks promising and surely it can't be worse than 90% of the beat em ups released on DLSite.
I dunno if this will beat Ricca for me, so far nothing can. But I'm gonna give it a try. I hope GOG gets it, so I can get it legally and not have to give Steam my money. Also, GOG has a bunch of their other games like SOTD 1&2 and the second one is a lot of fun. Never knew they did a beat em up.
