Your comparision with Stronghold is a little wrongful, this game is lot more modern and innovative, also is at such low price, less than half than S. Warlords.
Very good product. A nice blend of: Northgard+DawnOfMan+AncestorsLegacy with also some mechanics of base building and survival horde from: Conan Unconquered/They Are Billions. Hence is not much similar to Strongholds or Age of***, is modern and innovative. And most important its cost a lot less than all the cited ones, only 17€, its a real deal, it have some little bugs and balance issue, not a single one gamebreaking, the low rating on steam are very silly and unfair.
I write objective facts. The animations are not bad at all, probably you have driver or hardware not compatible. I have played more than 50 strategy games over nearly 30 years, i know what i'm talking about. Also i "advocate" nothing, go read any cracker notes, any. You are very uninformed!
