Don't do that. Use 'Locale Emulator' (for Win 10 since AppLocale doesn't work on the new Win OS) or set your PC to the Japanese environment. Otherwise, your box is going to show "?" virtually all the time. In addition, the game could crash or be unstable.
Just btw, there's a program called Visual Novel Reader that translates for you. It's a complete Bitch to set it up but it's great once you get it working
