Oh, the game is good, I don't deny it (has its things tho, due to twitter having influenced it), but how can I pay for it knowing that the money will go to a developer who only sees games as tools for propaganda? If I paid for it, I would be responsible for their next woke game. Also, deals with epic, eugh...
You know, with the rampant spread of wokeness in today's medias I just want to give up. Movies, series, and games all ruined. I can't enjoy shite, I can't fight it either, so I just don't give a single shite about it anymore. If I know there's some woke *ss shite in there then I can choose to ignore it. If I don't, then I'd be a blissful caveman. Harmful or not, if I like something I'll pay it.
Really enjoyable.. EXCEPT that the save file keeps getting scuffed and you lose all progress when you quit.
Tried to do some trouble shooting... 2 Issues that I couldn't make heads or tails to resolve (or if related). 1.) Path to release changed the AppData from Roaming to LocalLow. (tried to copy over from LocalLow to Roaming but it still didn't work). Maybe need to change the User Env setting or something.
2.) There was one mention about the Tutorial being bugged where they were able to bypass and go directly to loading a save slot by disabling then re-enabling the tutorial... (perhaps filling all 3 save slots with same world seed?) mentioned in the steem forum general discussion. But discussions about the bug stopped. Could be a throw back to to Epic Store usage.
The only other caveat could be to ensure one use the same world seed during initial creation. Not having an assigned world seed might be why the saves aren't correctly set? (I'll try again by wiping my slot1-3 files and fill all save slots in one go instead of doing a 1,2,3 and exiting each time. If I don't self reply, it will mean it didn't work)
Ideally, Performing a compare to the "Erly Acess" version before it went Ep1c Exclus1ve might be worth looking at.
this is one those games that stands out and people will enjoy and stick around till the end. so judging by the size this game couldve added more stuff and make it even larger...
After closing the game the save file somehow wont be
read when relaunching the game
Here are the steps:
- Open the "x86_64" folder located within the game folder: Unexplored 2\Unexplored2_Data\Plugins\x86_64
- Delete the following files from that folder:
- Download the latest build of the Goldberg Emu: https://mr_goldberg.gitlab.io/goldberg_emulator
- Open the Goldberg Emu archive you have downloaded and copy the files from the experimental folder.
- Paste these files into the "x86_64" folder.
- Rename "steam_api.dll" to "steam_64.dll"
- Done!
I have tested it and even after death it will not delete your save, enjoy!steam_api64.dll
