Thomas Edison left an estate worth $12 million at his death in 1931 ($170 million in 2022 dollars). Tesla died a poor man. Clearly Edison was far more intelligent than Tesla keeping the old mantra in mind: if you're so smart then how come ya ain't rich (sic.)?
This Tesla fanatacism is getting very old as we owe far more to Edison (the lightbulb and cylinder record player) than we do to Tesla in a preactical sense. At least Edison was an American, not a dirty Serb.
Nice try bub. Tesla was on the greatest innovators and most influential people in science and engineering ever. I'm not gonna write an essay here about Tesla's achievements, there is plenty of material in books and online written on that subject, so you can educate yourself better cuz your knowledge is obviously lacking. Edison was more of businessmen than scientist, often using underhanded tactics to appropriate other people's work. There is a big difference between science aptitude and business smarts. Many very intelligent people through history died poor cuz they didn't have the second one, didn't want to waste time on it, or they just had bad luck. Using your logic I could say that Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are more intelligent than say...Michael Faraday or Ser Isaac Newton, which is an absolute nonsense.
