The setup.exe is definitely fine, but if you don't trust Skidrow's setup then just download a small Fairlight game like Final Fantasy IV, which can download in mere seconds.
You just need to delete the .bin file from the install files of Final Fantasy IV and then throw in the Stanley Parable .bin inside the file in its place and rename it to FLT.bin afterwards you can manually apply the crack or if you can be bothered, replace the install crack files too.
Hey so, when I launch the game, the screen goes completely black and I can only use my cursor, this is when I start the game up to the gameplay, everything else like the audio and cursor works fine
would be more content and situations ? probably best to go in blind . i guess all depends on how extensive people went through the original to really know what the comparison would be
Its hard to tell if you have anything left though; some things require you to pick paths; some require events; there's even stuff with setting the time each time you start the game.
And I haven't found a way to track endings so uhhh gl 100% ing the game. Which I guess is another intentional jab at gaming.
Yeah I did see the thing about setting the time at the start, that was funny. I also know that after you get a couple of endings a new door labeled" New Content" opens up and that's where the bulk of the new stuff is. The rest, well...I guess you can just look up an ending guide or something to keep track of the endings you got.
I think that they are being intentionally vague with the information regarding what is being added, so I think that all we know is that there is more new content than the size of the original game

But Codex Installer was really stable. I'm really sad that they left.
The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn’t! :)
Yes, installer, it's a false positive, i have seen it thousands of times on installers, you can ask any "famous" you trust, like fitgirl, i hope she will tell you.
I'm curious. Finished the original way back when. But I'd rather be able to continue with my old save instead of going back through all the original stuff. It's fun to see it for the first time, but has no impact seeing it again. They should have a mode for veteran players familiar with the story.

it's just a false positive, i have encountered it hundreds of times per month when uploading games, software,... AV always warns against viruses on installers made by Inno. You can search the internet for more information. I assure you that you will be safe
I deactivated my antivirus and it worked, but now I'm having the "the system can't find the file specified" error, I suspect it's also something to do with the antivirus but we'll see
