i already tried steam workshop downloader and all you get from the downloaded workshop files are game assets which i have no idea where one is supposed to place in the unturned directory. i found that older versions of the game,where you could get mods from places other than the steam workshop,had a way to load mods by placing them in specific folders,but that doesn't seem to be working (i tried it).
there are a lot of config (or .ini/json/etc...) files in the game directory where i believe i can add the workshop ids of the files but don't know which ones are the ones to edit - and also where the goddamn hell to put the files themselves (of the mods downloaded).
i know it's not the steam workshop downloader because i use it for mods for other games-and it works flawlessly.
again, thanks for the help, but is it at all possible to load mods in this game without f-ing steam ? or, is there light only available from the coal furnace that valve funnels their smoke out of ?
i downloaded this and was wondering if anyone knows how to manually add worshop content to the game...any attempt to try and google this is guides on installing it for the server of the game. for the client it seems to say only use the workshop,but that's clearly not an option here,so...any ideas ?
you have to use steamworkshopdownloader.io and on a different tab open the steam workshop find the workshop mod you want and just copy the entire address put it into steamworkshopdownloader and then hit download and it will get it for you most times it works sometimes it dont anyway good luck!

I'm glad this is here, i do actually own the game and the upgrade on steam, but i have to use data from my phone, and telstra has decided to restrict it like the scum they are. even tho i pay for said data.
Just download the freakin game in steam and its for free. The game size isn't 4 3 or 2 gb anymore its 1gb now bc of the new update Why even bother with the cosmetics in the gold version that the game literally gives you cosmetics every single day. (But you have to play to obtain it it duh)
