I've been installing pirated games for two decades now and this is the first time I think the "false positive" is not a false positive. Avast found that the setup.exe has FileRepMalware [Cryp].
Some crackers don't rebuild and repackage the code to remove the DRM security; they include code that is similar to backdoor programs to work around that. This code triggers antivirus software like crazy.
That said, there are a lot of other pirated games that you can be playing; don't bother with the ones that have shitty cracks like these. These are just the work of lazy crackers.
