What problem with steam_api.dll? if it's missing you might want to check your antivirus, there are cases the file might get detected as a false positive and removed from game folder. Recovering the file and adding it or the whole game folder to the exceptions list of your antivirus should solve the issue
when I use the original steam_api.dll , the crafthero.exe will be crashed and seems nothing happen. But if I change steam_api.dll that copy past from other where,it can be enter to the game but show a message tell you need use steam cliant to login. Also you can see the original steam_api.dll file date is very oldest.
While this worked the first time I ran the game (was able to launch and play the game), after closing and trying to play again a few hours later I get a "must launch from steam" error in-game; I'll try a few other things to get it working, but for now this doesn't actually fix the upload.
i figured out how, change the appid from 1882040 to 1907060 on both steam_appid.txt and index.html, this will trick the game into thinking its running the prologue but the script is still configured to run the full game.

same here game close instantly when i open it with the original steam_api.dll i tried replacing it with another and the game opens but there's an error message telling you to open it with steam & it close the game

you can actually crack the prologue into running the full game by copying over the cracked/full index.html and changing the appid to 1907060.
as for cracking the prologue, you need the index.html of a full version to overwrite the prologue's, then edit its appid value from 1882040 to 1907060
i emphasize the importance of using the proper index.html file, its the initiation file that also functions as the DRM prerequisite.

go to steam and dl the demo of the game
go to the files from the demo
copy file res and put it to the crack folder
after that you should be good to go :)
I copied res folder from demo and pasted to crack folder

but the weird thing is even I run the demo version also told me please run the full version ?
