Hello everybody ! This version of the game isn't cracked. You can only "play it now for free", basically the demo version, contrary to other Choice of Games on IGG - there is no launcher.
Its working fine for me. It's cracked differently from steamEmu so it doesnt have the launcher, but it's not going through the "Play it now for free" page. It's going straight to chapter 1.
I'm not sure how I can help you.... I've downloaded the google drive version. It worked straight away for me. I just downloaded, extracted the files and started the SinsOfTheSires.exe. It worked. Savefiles went to documents/DARKSiDERS so it's clearly cracked.
If you want to, you can apply it yourself. Copy all the files from any of the CoG games to this one, open the steamemu.ini file, then change the target exe to SinsOfTheSires.exe
mine says There was an error connecting to Steam.Steam must be running to play this game.BLABLABLAH.error code 77778. the other text-based games work good after i copied those ini dll thing. maybe i should give up this one hah
Its a series of titles based on the TTRPG of the same name, I dunno if they have interlinked stories but imagine its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Dogs Life or something.
This game was such a disappointment :(( In the game u have skills that u will not use. Some fantasy of the author about getting eaten :v and a story that's just not meh if not bad.
Not sure if it's much of a solace to those who can't start the game but let me tell you it's hardly worth it. The demo of this game contains what is, basically, the only part of this game that feels like some actual work and care went into it. Everything after that point is a convoluted, rushed mess with basically no player agenda whatsoever. Choices don't matter, the potentially decent characters one meets fall flat due to the rushed plot and the lack of meaningful interaction. I have absolutely no clue what happened, but there is a certain feeling as if the author didn't really know what to do or forgot about the release date (though then it could have been delayed like many other Choices games have been the last 2 years?) or whatever. The game is awful and I regret buying it, even though it isn't really expensive.
