when I try to run the game, it opens a dark window and then closes and the game does not run. I've already tried to run by _start.bat and by SOPFFO.exe. The same error always.
Try to make sure you're running the game as admin, then try updating Visual C++, then updating your graphics drivers.
Alternatively, when it launches and sits on a black screen. Leave it for a while. I had the same problem and I launched the game, left it on a black screen and went to have a shower. When I came back the game was on the menu.
Restart your computer and try running as administrator several times. I had the same problem and it eventually worked. Also try alt + enter to force it into full screen, that helps sometimes.
All they did was Dynasty Warriors theme stuff? Are we forgetting Fatal Frame? Are we forgetting Nioh? Are we forgetting DOA6? To say that Koei only did DW themed stuff is incredibly stupid.
FYI: To change the Language InGame(use Keyboard Arrow Keys,E-Key to enter,Q-Key to go back): 1.go to -> Settings,choose the 3.Option from Above and change to English(it wll be displayed in English,so you can easy see the change).
I advice going to Keyboard/Mouse Settings,too.Changing to Keyboard n Mouse makes it more comfortable. Dont use Gamepad in the Settings and Game,it at least for me(X-Box-Pad) ,is not correctly set to navigate in the Settings,also InGame,too. Somehow the GamePad-Key Indicators are wrong displayed(it shows only KB/Mouse at least for me.KB/Mouse works great.
PS.:If you have blackcreen while starting Game,make a shortcut to the game.exe,rightclick on it,choose Compatibility and select disable Full-Screen Optimization. This can help.
Edit:It works(720p fine on middle/high) but it is a bad port,needs some patches/fixes.
Just tested this game today, it's unplayable for game slowdown and random stutters, it's worse than when FF7 remake first released on pc. I'm a fan of FF1 remake but this game is in a really bad release state.
Nope, during gameplay where you stick your fist up and place your foot down anything to crystalize them. It's way worse than FF7 remake and that game runs flawlessly on my R5 3600+1080 Ti build.
This game takes a LONG time to load, and starts in windowed mode for some reason. I thought it had frozen but eventually it did get in there. This on an i7-8700k and RTX 3070.

even if you find the working part 11, when you press setup the game, your computer will tells you it has virus! when it first came out, it doesn't hv the virus problem
Okay, wtf, i have a problem, when i put the game on Windowed, it goes flawless, but when i'm on full screen, or borderless it's just explode... The thing is, i cna't change the resolution.. ( why i have this many problems... ) 😅
It is an interesting game for sure, auctions aren't anything new since they've been around as early as FF6 but I do find them to be enjoyable and welcome additions to later titles.

What's your CPU? This game is weird, it always have 100% usage of CPU. I don't have this issue with other better game. I'm i5-9400F. Though it runs 100% usage, but it works fine for me.
I have a nvidia GTX 970 4gb and play it in windows mode 720p/768p(1368x768) middle settings,works great.Depends on your specs,maybe you can play it,too
