you know cracked games should be for testing games like is the game that am buying worth my money or not or for poor people who cant buy games like people who have their country currency very low or who dont have a work yet my idea is if you can buy a game you have to buy it bcuz developers dont actually earn that much of thier games
Thats one reason why i use this site, games used to have demos and they should all have some sort of demo. Ive purchased a small amount of games in the past that i could not bear to play and was long past the refund time. I dont make a lot of money but i enjoy supporting ones i end up playing.
ya i dont know why every indie game doesnt have a demo talked about and pushed out via twitter and hyped up a few weeks prior to launch. Who the heck knows how any game will be like from pics alone. also if release demo of say alpha, it could either really help or really hurt the progress of game. And if it really hurts it, it prob means the game is shite anyway, and is a good time to take a step back and determine if you want to waste your time and money on this sinkhole no on likes.
afaik studies suggest that piracy tends to result in increased revenue for small game developers. Additional revenue is generated because a percentage of the people who pirate the game will either end up buying it or recommend the game to others who will buy it. This additional revenue outweighs the loss of revenue to people who pirate the game instead of buy it in the case of indies, but not in the case of larger games which already spend a lot of money on marketing and thus have relatively little to gain from the extra exposure.
