I can't save in game it says cannot find the path of SystemData and cannot create AutoSave. Help? Edit: I created myself -> KoeiTecmo\Atelier Sophie 2\SystemData Now i got two new errors lol. Error type 0x0000 Error value 0x0002
EDIT 2: I desactivated Ransomware protection for Controlled files and it's now working. Oof.
The problem for me was that the file path was too long (ie. just the number of characters) - when I moved the main game folder to somewhere with a shorter file path (outside of the 2 folders with really long names), or just gave the folders shorter names, then it started to work for me.
Right-click on "steamclient_loader.exe" and run it as admin, here the first boot took a while on a black screen (maybe 1 whole minute?) but once the game loaded, every time after it would load really quick.
I don't have the game but have you guys tried to launch the game in Admin mode ? '(right click on the exe, run as administrator, or go through proprieties and click the box 'run as admin' ) ? Also try to add the exe or the whole game directory to your anti virus exception/white list
This is one of the best Atelier games in recent years, no fade-out between battles, you can double the speed of battles, Sophie already starts in high Alchemy Level showing that she still has her skills from the first game, you can change the weather of the dream world, there's new mini-games at specific gathering spots, etc etc
There's no problem to start with Sophie 2 since it also has a recap to Sophie 1, download this bro.
The game hasinfinite loading when trying to use some of DLC costumes. I've seen something in chinese website about the game missing some DLC files and the game version need to be patched by order but I don't really understand the language so...
To people who want to play this game try to search "Atelier sophie 2 goldberg" and looking for a torrent flie that when you open it with torrent it's size 16 GB not 11 GB 16 GB ver.(1.00 ver.) it's really worked for me there is no stucking at loading screen problem but 11 GB ver.(1.00 ver.) has and if you want 1.03 ver. you need to download it from another web it's will be 11 GB ver.(1.03 ver.) then copy all flie in folder and paste it into 16 GB ver.(1.00 ver.) 11 GB ver.(1.03 ver.) it's can play too but I got some problem like a when you teleported to other place it's will stuck at loading screen. Hope my English will made everyone understand

Also there's 2 more DLCs coming up this month (march), one of them is a prequel called "Atelier Plachta", hoping it gets added here eventually since it's major stuff.
Fortunately, this is still playable with my 1st gen Ryzen 5 vega 8 laptop. I just have to put the resolution to 720p and the texture quality and the rest to standard and low. The game was stuttering just like Sophie DX but can be fixed with the same solution by plugin in a gamepad and it works fine. Playing the game right away without needing to install is very neat. Just wanna try it out the game first, I still haven't done Sophie 1 first and have Ryza 1 and 2 in my backlog.

PLEASE HELP I cannot find the language folder even after following the pinned comment. I saw the language but I don't see any option to be able to interact and change the language to English. I only see a txt file language.txt that has schinese in it. I don't understand. What does komikers mean to change languange to : english?
i have a radeon rx580 8gb...after i start the game the mouse cursor stutter terribly, on all my monitors....even ingame gameplay skip frames terribly...could be a driver issue?
Try to change these setting. Options > Graphics Options : Anti-Aliasing : FXAA (In my experience, TAA cause glitches in this game) Save settings. If it is not enough, update your graphics driver.
It has all the save bonus outfits plus some of the DLCs, it seems like a couple of pre-order bonus are missing though (the yellow alchemist outfit for Sophie).
There's also 2 DLCs coming in the future which offers more content and outfits (including a whole prequel story called "Atelier Plachta"), obviously it's not included here as it's not released yet.
The most niched jrpg you can ever imagine, released in the same time period of Horizon and Elden Ring. And you wonder why this Atelier series is hidden in a corner
