That was before the latest patch which this version already has. I just tested it myself on my mid range rig and no lag, even in the wide open world areas.
choose the server that you like the most and start downloading all the parts and each part of all the servers are interchangeable update your graphics drivers and your library of C++ and then maybe you can play the game if you don't run into any problem lol
download all parts, put them in folder, extract the very first part and it will grab all the other parts and decompress into a single folder. you need winrar.
Yes, you need to download 9 parts (choose any links you want, like megaup, uptobox,...). Does your PC have winrar? Just right click on part1, choose "extract here", it will automatically extract all 9 parts. Finally, you just need to install the game and enjoy

You didn't apply the crack. When you install the game there's an option in the installer to automatically apply the crack. If you didn't do that then go into the ISO, open the PLAZA folder and copy the folder inside onto the install directory
when you download it you need to put the crack in the installation folder. If you dont add the crack to the game it indeed checks your steam if you have bought the game
ok first you download something from utorrent. thats the installation. then you open a disc image which should look like a new drive installed in your pc. on that image there should be a setup and a folder which contains the crack. The files that are in this folder need to be put where you install the game (so where you select the game to be downloaded in the Setup). If u did it correctly it should ask for some files to be replaced. you need to replace all those files and it should work. I am currently still downloading so if you cant figure it out i should be able to help you later on!
all the games files are spread out amongst multiple parts so there isn't just one part with the crack files in them you'll have to reextract the entire game to get the crack files back
Torrenting is the easiest way to avoid the annoying ads from the split downloading(megaup) and the fastest way to download a new game upload. I'd only use the split file download links if it has been several weeks since the initial upload date since that's when torrents start slowing down due to not enough people seeding.
Took me about an hour in total to download this 46gb torrent vs constantly wasting time over waiting on the split file links and then the slow limited download speeds that takes at least 10mins for one split 5gb file from those sites.
It would take close to 2 hours to download all those files split separately versus just cutting down the time in half by torrenting.
Tried editing the steam_emu.ini but it won't save the changes I made. Error says that I don't have permission to edit files. Already tried the solutions posted online by clicking properties-security and uncheck Run as administrator but error still persists.
Another more complex process would be to right click the folder of the game and revoke ownership of the current owner and put them on yourself. But doing what "Cockgobbler" said works very well, as well as moving the .ini outside of that folder, editing it and then placing it back in.

yeah no. you still need a very powerful pc to even think about running a PS4 game. Emulators that have been out now for the PS4 are not even well optimized. so no you cant compare a Console with a PC. Any pc for that matter. its simply not how things work
This game isn't a port, it came out on pc directly too, plus they have had years of experience working with souls game on pc so it should be pretty optimized for pcs.

don't put your hopes up, it will almost 100% not have multiplayer possible unless tampered and had additional third party applications on with other softwares behind it. even if it was possible, then it will most likely be not safe.

yeah thats why i switched to downloading it from megaup and got a soild 12mbps with it. Was getting 5mbps with torrent , got like 20gb downloaded but it wasnt fast enough nor worth it

well my razer doesn't work with or without DS4Win. It works in dark souls 3, so I know the controller is connected properly. elden ring just doesn't detect this controller for some reason

you have to block the .exe in your firewall. You do this by clicking Win + R and type wf.msc, after go to outbound rules click new rules add a new program rule, find the elden ring.exe and click next, after block the connection and done. Enjoy :)
played ok for two hours with ryzen 5 3600x gtx980ti 16gb ram high settings @1080p. don't know the framerate since I tried FRAPS and it didn't show anything, and tried another program which wouldn't let Elden Ring run for some reason. Heavy stutter in some parts. fuck the tree sentinel btw, already died like 50 times
Anyone find a way to get PS4 controllers working? I've tried every fix everyone's suggested here and nothing works, tried DS4Windows, hidden DS4Windows controller, downloaded x360ce, I've tried changing my steam controller settings and launching it through a steam shortcut and nothing works so far
I also noticed PS4 controllers not working even while running DS4 tried turing on steam and stuff nope nothing works but i did notice shitbox.. sry xbox controllers works fine with it, so if u go a spare one of them laying around try that.
you can link any game you have on your computer on steam. Check on a YT video for how to do it (i haven't done it in years) so it can launch from the steam downloads page

FIrst if you have tried the coping the Xbox controller files X360ce.ini and xinput1_4.dll method.
You have to remove those files from the game folder.
