HELP! Whenever I extract the .rar file, everything goes to normal until Winrar says that the .exe file inside is corrupted... What should I do?

Please, help me! I am having a problem playing this game. I downloaded this game last year and played it twice, just fine. Now I wanted to replay it and it won't go to the lighthouse! I can hear footsteps but the character does not move. I tried deleting and reinstalling it, didn't work. Also my directX version is already the newest version. I honestly don't know what to do now. Please can you fix it, please?
