each part has a diffrent size..... part 1 has 5gb file. but when you extract itll be 22.3 gb. the 2nd part has 3.9gb when you download..... and it has 10.9gb when you extract (i guess???)
You can estimate the size of any file as if there is multiple parts each part will be 5Gb. The last file may, be smaller tho. If there is only one file then it's less than 5Gb unless it's an installer.

Yes, it gets updated regularly. Most updates (from what I observed) are usually bug fixes and small added features. The game would usually get updated withing 1-3 months, or even a couple of weeks. They do make big or somewhat-big updates within a year or so.
I can't do anything with the game because it's saying that a zipped file named common, which is missing. I looked in the 3rd zip in the vehicles file and found it but it's saying it's corrupt. So without it, I can't play on any maps.

When I tried to extract files, suddenly the extraction stopped and I got a message that the file named "Industria.zip" is damaged. Then I tried to run game, but it couldn't and an error "0x00000001" appered.

It's either your internet is bad, you're not using IDM, or a combination of both. the download issue with websites is because downloading normally without IDM is so bad it's unbearable, i'd have download speeds of 13MB\S On Idm and the normal Chrome downloader is less then 3MB\S, some websites are very slow even with IDM but most of them can download at 13MB\S for me. for me if the google link doesn't allow me to download I use the megaup link though it has alot of ads both of them allow me to download at full speed
megaup has a couple of annoying popups but you can just close them and click download again. make sure you get the correct .rar file after that any detection is just a false positive

okay, i fixed the problem... a mod that was incompatable with the version i was running must've screwed with something, because when i removed the mod, the problem was gone
i used it too but it only allows to download 5gb every 4 hours so downloading this takes over 5 hours just use megaup it has some very inappropriate ads tho but it downloads fast
Can you fix the link for Google Drive? Its been visited too much and wont probably fix itself if the people downloading wont slow down. The other links are too slow and Mega Nz has little download quota so it cant be finished
The source code of the launcher is on GitHub. With a little bit of research and time, you can check the code and see what it does to check if you own the game. It's just some file checks that you can easily create and edit to make BeamMP think you own the game. Or, if you know how to, you can rebuild the launcher from source with all of these checks removed.
The problem lies inside your PC. Delete anything related to Beam if you had it installed before. Literally anything. I had the same problem and it worked. if not try other sites.
yea, theres a problem with the maps/graphics/sounds on versin 0.21.1 update that induce a bit of lag, for e.g i have shinjuku installed and its a small map but ever since the new update it lags whenever i try to drift but in the 0.21.2 update they have fixed a lot of those problems so when the new update comes out on here than we will have more stable gameplay
my textureds load fine, are you extracting both .rar files at once or are you extracting the first one only? as i copy all the files from the first .rar file into my main game folder and it copies all the other files aswell, also for some texture glitches you need to reload the map a few times for your game memory to actually load them up properly think of it as refreshing a page that doesnt wanna load properly
there are no update files only the updated version, if there was update files than they would be added, but since its updating through the whole game files itself, thats a different story

I personally think that google drive is best. If drive doesnt work, you should try MegaUp cuz there is unlimited download for parts and stuff so try it. If its not here, try to use other links. BUT you must use LINK PER PART. You will be 100 % sure that it will download them both and dont stop the download in halfway because of download limit. Its pain when you see the 81 % downloaded and the limit notification above it, trust me. Hope that u get it and my grammar is at least little understandable.

when i download it can i install mods from the official beamng site? I'm asking because i have an older version (0.17.2) from an other site and i can download mods from the official site. I want the new Vivace car with some mods for it this is why im upgrading and plus there should be new force feedback for steeting wheels like mine so i want to try that out too.
if you have the most up-to-date version then you can install mods without it breaking your previous mods but if your version is not up-to-date then i would recommend not updating/downloading new mods as it can break the game
I guess you got Intel HD 520/530/620/630 and actually there's issue with it. So wait until game properly will support those or they'll get proper driver.

Man, have you any External GPU, I recommand to buy GTX 1050 or AMD RX 560 2GB. If it's you only have laptop you can buy PCIe External GPU atleast has 2GB VRAM and 2015 to 2017 GPU. That's great performance for this BeamNG! :p. If you don't have budget you can buy RX 460 that's good for BeamNG. And BTW I use laptop too!

These games are not really DRM-protected. My guess is that they have the Steam protection but that has been cracked/bypassed a long time ago, and Valve can't be bothered to care, so if you have the files, you essentially have the game.

No, definitely not. The soft-body physics of this game are way too detailed to be running smooth on a low spec computer. Excpect minimal FPS. You can minimalize the physics but that's a last resort thing to do, and it doesn't really help with improving performance. I recommend playing this on an medium/high end gaming pc.

You will need to download the second File too! :o But you had luck, because all the important files for the game to run are in the first file. I think in the second are the cars and maps, i don't know, because i didn't looked for that. But you will be notice later, that you will have problems, because maybe some important files are not downloaded, like some cars, maps, some of the UI elements... It's over 1 GB of files missing, you will have big problems later. And just for info, you need to download every file! It was just luck it worked for BeamNG to start. But please install the last file :D
anybody else dealing with low framerate after last update? tried anything from online guides, I have more than enough powerful pc. even if I change to lowest still runs like 30 fps. only the gridmap plays fine
Turn to Fullscreen mode and check if the performance debug diagram is inside the window or half out. If its out of window somehow, pull it back. I using 75Hz free sync. This method worked for me.

6 days late but here's your answer. Beamng will let you play the full game and download any mod you want, but will just tell you the game is pirated and asks for you to purchase it. (So there's no issue with the game). The game menu picture of a pirate ship can be removed by clearing the cache from the first options you get when opening the game (inside support tools>clear cache). Hopefully this helps.

So , does the beamng file do the same thing as farming simulator 19 did? As in when you start it it takes 6 gigs on your pc and then when you close it the 6 gigs are on but then you launch it and it adds another 6 gigs. Is there any way to fix this if its the same

it's 5 gb because it has a limit of how much you can upload, to instal the 2 part you have to download both parts put them in the same location and extract one (the other will extract as well on it´s own)
Oh. What I did is I used 7-zip to open both rar files and then i moved both of the folders on my desktop. After that I merged both files to play the game. Is this ok to do.
Open beamng using launcher, click play, then wait until the main menu show up. Don't play the game. Exit after the menu loads. Open the launcher again, Click "Clear Cache". Wait untill it finishes. Then play the game. It worked for me.

Pretty sure those are saved in documents. But yes, you can update the files, just extract the new files into your beamng folder and replace all, it will update existing files and keep files that you made.

This is a bug in the game that I haven't got but check the properties of the beamng.exe and see if the 256colors is checked... If it's the case uncheck it and if it's not I'm sorry I can't help you
Thanks for replying... Unfortunately that wasn't the solution to fix it... I found the solution and you were half right... there was a bug going around in beam that completely mess up the gamma the simple fix is to just reset the gamma and that's how I solved my issue...
i have version 0.8. how do i play the game? running the exe in root directory does not do anything, and running the exe in the bin64 folder giver a error report window.
Hey everyone! After the 0.16.0.2 update I'm experiencing a serious drop in FPS, even the menu is terribly lagging. The 0.16.0.1 still works fine. Deleting cache did not help. Any tips how to fix it? (GTX1080, i5-6600k) TIA :) Ah yeah and thanks to IGG!!
the cat avatar guy is probobly right, if you have integrated GPU it sometimes thinks that the game can be run just on the processor wich it usualy is not, it happens often on laptops or if you have intel i5 like me wich most have it, i had the same isue when i installed shaders for minecraft, 5fps is no gud for mc, and it turned out optifine for some reason did't change the GPU as it usually would.
right click on beamng, click on "run with graphip processor", click on "run with Nvidia gpu high performance" and if the fps drops again, update your drivers or Nvidia Geforce Experience
If you click the button I circled in the screenshot, you can add the file to your Google Drive. After doing that, go to your Google Drive, make a copy of the file and then download the copy. Only works if the file is temporarily unavailable.
Well I downloaded it last night and it's very slow and suffers from sound static and lag spikes/framerate drops every few seconds. So I deleted it, and now all my games that used to run perfectly now experience the same issue! What the hell?
I doubt that's the games fault, never had an issue with it (have been downloading from here since 0.11) Make sure your system isn't throttling, or has other applications consuming resources. If you have a laptop with switchable graphics, ensure that your games are running on the high performance GPU, not the IGPU.
Open the "Bin64" folder and then click "BeamNG.drive.x64" and the game will run. Im assuming you are running a 64-bit operating system but if you arent then open the "bin32" folder and run the game .exe there. Also delete the "support.exe" in the picture to disable the piracy detection.

Your DirectX 'bug' might be related to your GPU drivers if you have a Nvidia card. If you have a Nvidia card, ensure your GPU drivers are on the latest version, as a recent driver issue with BeamNG was fixed.
For those of you who don't want to dig through the files to get rid of the pirate screen, all you need to do is run the launcher and click on 'Clear Cache' Let the rest happen on it's own, run the game, and you're good.

but not a racing simulation without any syrious code modification, there are no pitstops, no racing rules or flags, so not exacly evevry type of vechicle simulation. But it isn't impossible to make it one.
but it does't changes anything like it was in case of GTA VC, because there was a chance of 20% or something of a permament rain and after 40 min. garages stoped working so you werent able to accomplish some of the missions

I don't have this problem, it's not game related, I can say that. I just only have this problem which occures when I try to filter steering according to speed, it says NaN for speed and I can't adjust speed.
Just ignore this. Its a friendly reminder from the developers that this is a cracked version but it still works fine. If you dont like this reminder buy the game and support the developers :)

the mods arent from the workshop, they'r from the respository wich works. Whats interesting, if you have automation (the game-tool for making car mods for BeamNG for people who dont know how to use lua codes) import thing works even if you have both games pireted.
they dont upload the accual latest versions. they upload the versions that are set in the for example steam properties, so they dont upload experimental versions, wich people say its the latest.

you can run any games below the minimum, somtimes they say it needs like 69 gb Vram on your GPU and 1000000 gb RAM cuz one thing needs a bit better computer like it is in case of BroForce, but the least important thing is the ram, if you have less it will just load slower and burn itself faster
automation car editor is not in the beamng drive, it's a different game by it self, the game is called automation, when you want to make a car and place it into beamng you need to export it at the end of the car your making IN automation

Sory że tak późno. Spróbuj zrobić reinstall i po zakończeniu zaznacz wszystkie okienka. Zainstaluj wszystko co ci wyskoczy. Jeśli gra nie ma instalki (już nie pamiętam jak to było) wszystko powinno być w folderze _redist. Jak to nie pomoże spróbuj włączyć grę na integrze, nie dedyku (geforce). Jeszcze jedno pytanie. Czy w innych grach występuje podobny problem? Jeśli tak to najprawdopodobniej masz uszkodzoną kartę graficzną.

i had the same thing, i needed to completely remove all files from beam ng from my pc every single on and download it again just scan your pc for beamng and delete everything its not like its a mod thats doing it i played it every day and suddently it didnt work crashed when i opened the game
what i had to do is i had to remove every single beamng file from my pc then reinstall it you should try delete documents from beamng, all mods and scan your pc for beamng and delete all of it and reinstall

Most likely not, because of 4GB being your total ram, about half that is taken away from you for System Operation and tasks that run in the background! Also depending on what frequency it is at can affect the performance of the game, and Video Card and last but not least a capable CPU
No and yes, if you can get a GPU in it no, but if you cant just get a new pc that you are able to get a GPU in, and dont get a laptop get a desktop because laptops have a bad price to performance ratio when it comes to playing games

Can someone help please. I extracted the game files from rar to a new folder.When i try to open/run BeamNG.drive.exe it checks update then does nothing just creats a folder named unknown_files_user_backup.0.4.1.0 . I use windows 10.

Fixed it, applied the crack from "CODEX" and can be found within the NoDVD folder. If not this download, download from this source: get the crack named "CODEX" from within the NoDVD folder within the downloaded archive, replace that with the bin32 & bin64 folders located within your game directory.

The only way is to run it in the virtual machine. Nope! Does not work with Wine, CrossOver, etc. What is virtual machine? A virtual machine is an operating system that can run on a window.
All i did to fix that was the open the unknown_files_user_backup.0.4.1.2 folder and take out the igg link icon to website and README and i dragged the bin64 bin32 and content into the main folder. I tryed to explain the best i could. Hope this helped.
Okay everyone, I re-downloaded both parts today, and I extracted the folder with IGG on the front and started the program. After a bit of initializing, the game ran great. The only problem was that when I started the freeroam gridmap, the game just crashed.

there was a bug going around in beam that completely mess up the gamma
the simple fix is to just reset the gamma and that's how I solved my issue...
