Everyone is entitled to their opinion . And i don't mean any offense but i disagree with both . I've pirated AA and indie games and felt pretty bad about it for not supporting the dev . As an example i went and bought thunder tier one shortly after pirating it because that game is great . Some sales are also hurt by piracy . I never ever bought any of the elder scrolls games i ever played . Even tho they are good games i just played the pirate version too much to want it . Ubisoft on the other hand treats PC players like dirt . If their game runs on console thats all they care about . I could link a thread about valhalla crashing on pc that's been there since launch and is still very active intill today . Ubisoft pushes out 40$ DLC's on their already 60-100 dollar game . A crap ton of pc players never even finised the base game because of all the bugs and crashes ... even if Ubisoft decides to fix their stuff me and allot of people will boycott them and pirate their games instead . Probably feeling good about it too .
Legion as an example has an issue on the original ubisoft launcher version where it just automatically deleted your save . You could play 50 hours and next time you start it you restart from scratch . And ubisoft responds with "we are aware of the problem and unfortunately do not have a solution to it" Ubisoft has been going to crap pretty fast .

I download a game and if the game is good enough, i buy it when its on sale. Downloading games is a good way to test run to see how it is. I bought about 15 games last year when epic had that 10 dollar coupon sale, its good. I also remembered downloading Saints row remastered, so when it got on sale, i bought it. So is a win for everyone if you ask me.
I guess my question is: Would you have bought all the games you first pirated then bought, or are there games you would not have bought if you hadn't pirated them first to find out whether they're any good?
Obviously we can't see alternate timelines to find the true answer, but that's really the question at the heart of the debate. I also often buy games I previously pirated, and I have pirated games that I was never planning to buy. It's very likely I would have bought more games if I couldn't pirate any, but it's also likely I'd be regretful of many more of my game purchases than I am today.
Personally my biggest downside of the prevalence of piracy is when, right or wrong, devs feel the need to add DRM protections which notoriously hurt its stability and performance on systems and frustrate paying players just to combat non-paying players. I'm sort of against DRM as a concept, but I'd be way more willing to accept its use if it didn't impact regular players so much.
My (admittedly opinionated) belief is that, for the most part, piracy doesn't affect the sales of good games which are worthy of peoples' attention. Clearly subjective, but it's satisfying enough for me.
it never is. i did piracy to test if the game worth buying considering how i lose faith in advertisement and review. in short i did it to for personal interest to avoid buying trash. if it pass then i will buy them
I own both FC6 and ACV and i'd say wait for a sales to around $20. I don't think they suck, they are just a bit lacklustre for AAA titles (FC6 mainly, ACV is actually quite good but can be very time consuming if you're a completionist).
I'm aware of torrents, i use to be very active on the Pirate Bay back in the days. I'm just not a fan of downloading games that are larger than 25GB. I can wait until its on sale again and buy it. I haven't' even finish watch dogs 1 and barely played part 2 and i have both of them. So no rush, I'm enjoying WD1 atm.
I tried really hard to love this game, i really did. This is probably my top 5 worst games ever played to be honest. I cannot think of a single good thing about this game, every mission is the same thing but reskinned and it definitely overstays its welcome. The main antagonist is forced and is totally unnecessary, the motivation, story etc is just so poorly written. It took me probably 4 months to get through this mess, part two is SO MUCH MORE FUN, they stripped everything they could from you and your toolkit is so limited in this one, its almost like this should have came before the first game. The only redeeming value is riding on the giant drones.
It looks good, but haven't played it. Plan to buy it when its on a massive sale again. I have watch dogs 2 and 1 though and honestly part 1 is my favorite and i think it always will be.
This game and repack is fundamentally broken. I have downloaded and installed both the Empress and the DODI Empress repack, and neither of them work after an entire week of trying to get it right. Call me stupid, but I find the nemesis system in this game really engaging even thought the rest of the game is objectively garbage. I cannot get past the main screen, as I will be able to choose options for a moment then the entire game will freeze and I will have to restart MY WHOLE COMPUTER to cancel the program.
Do you know how long this game takes to download? 90 Gigs? How many hours to install? I've done it 8 times over the course of a week. I deleted Windows Defender which trashes the EMP.dll, I've tried adding file paramaters to force it to launch in direct x11 and without BattleEye Launcher. I've tried editing the language files which apparently worked for some people. Absolutely. Nothing. I am in the exact same place that I was last week when I started.
I am so angry I want to cry. This game is nowhere near as good as the monumental amount of effort you will have to put in to make it work. And even then it still wont work. It only works at wasting your fucking time, which I guess I should've come to expect from them at this point.
(Its not my specs either, 2060 and Ryzen 2700x 8 core)

To add: its bnew ssd and had 2 games from this site too, Horizon5 and Starfield. For some reason the torrent file for legion is sketchy.
The other 2 works fine and already played them.

Hello, can anyone help me, i want to run the game with directx11, so i change the game setting and the game said i need to restart. I clicked ok and the game restart itself but still directx12.I can't change it how many time i try.
if you happen to get "malware" from downloading anything its from the host sites, not IGG. be mindful when downloading your game "in parts" to make sure you downloading .rar files, and to ensure the file sizes match within .1/.5kb most usually. some (the last parts or updates) arent always 5gb files but 90% of the time youll download 5gb parts here unless u torrent it. if gdrives down, use mega up ALWAYS and usuall y the 4th click or so is your download. if it opens a new site its NOT your file!
Hey guys thanks for uploading. Any idea on how can I force the game to run with DX11? I try changing it in the settings menu ,but after restarting it's still running on DX12.
It's a console thing. Originally to limit space usage, since you had to buy memcards to store saves on. It's easier to save at a checkpoint than to save the entire game state at any time.
That's not an issue anymore, but it stuck for whatever reason. So anything made primarily for console has either checkpoint saves or autosave.
