I'm gonna give you an example of some of the differences between those updates. First there's a bug that makes it so you can't save, which is serious enough in itself, but that's not the worst of it. At the core of this game it's a hotel management game, which means upgrades are the key. However in .2 the updates don't save, they revert to what they were when you left the hotel, which means all your money is spent every single time reupgrading. In .4 however they do save, so you actually have some money to do stuff like get better upgrades and buy other hotels. So in .2 it's like playing on ultra hard mode.
