Karryn's Prison IS an eroge that takes itself way too seriously and thinks it's some sort of AAA hentai game with content that surpasses any similar game that is not developed by someone with such an attitude, lmao.
This game is very popular even among F95zone.. I haven't played it myself but it's likely a very good game. To be fair I have seen porn games of AAA quality and porn games of just visual novelty or RPGM(kind of super nintendo zelda games style), that are just amazing! Most games are ren'py and even there they can be amazing! As porn needs more of kinks and fetishses and writing.. More than good animations and good combat.
Kind of why old games many times are better than new games, graphics isn't everything. It's how you do it and the love you put in to it! Like cooking :)

this game is develop a LONG TIME and has a good gameplay ,well the games money management is really hard if you want the PURE ending other than that ITS GOOD!
the game does not pressure you to lose to get h-sceens like other games does, battle can take place ether PHYSICAL combat or SX combat , but later on mostly sx combat if you lose alot which is fine because the main goal is just MAINTAIN the ORDER of the prison!
the game has a skill tree for you to have improve combat and stuff for you to last long in a fight!
just go and try its really good! and i hope you support the developers because this is one of the best I've come so far when it comes to combat h-game , story wise its good , its not a VN ( virtual novel ) but it has a plot that explains why is the prison as it is!
I dont really look up guilds for H-games in general, I'll just recommend trying out the game and gain experience , its fine to lose because its part of the game .

Here's a better question. Why are you defending it? I swear, this game and its generic rape story you call 'development' has more suspicious white knights than a Twitch thot hosting a circle jerk party on Chaturbate.
