Its a browser hijacker, there was a folder in my Appdata/local/ called "Chrome" this was what it hid itself as. it was 20gb and the only folder inside was called "settings" or "options" something along the lines of that, just remove the entire folder, as google chromes actual folder is called "Google"
Then, go into task scheduler, I forget the exact name, but remove the one that starts with "Chrome" it's description should say that it opens powershell every 10 minutes.
Do this and you should be good to go, hope this helped

if u have ur antivirus on while downloading it from the installer it will delete one of the files that tricks steam into thinking u own the game so if u redownload it without ur antivirus on it should work because i just did that and it worked

I saw a video the company put on Youtube discussing the patch and this isn't going to fix much. According to them the framerate drops are because of their no loading screen system and that's something they can't fix with a simple patch but they are already working on it but it's a long term thing.

Game runs pretty smooth, there are performance issues and frame dips so do not be surprised as it's happening on my 9900k and RTX 3080ti.

Because you still not crack it before start game. After install, you must open .iso file, you will see "RUNE" folder, copy all files in that folder and paste to your game's dir, enjoy ;)
Honestly the DLC is...sub par. It's very repetitive and the scares are all cheap jumpscares. It also seems to be using book canon now and honestly the books have done more harm to the franchise than good. Eh, maybe hardcore fans will like it

When installing the patch I get an error that does not finish installing and so it remains, I try to open the game and another error appears, what do I do?

You might need to restart to play it properly, or wait until the patcher finishes unloading. Updating video drives also helps - I had to do all of those.

So i downloaded and played the game perfectly except that one part of the game where you press the stage button with freddy to go down, and then it gets dark, freddy says to follow him and he just stands there bugged while the moon guy follows you until you die.
He tells you to follow him but he's wrong, you just have to move yourself. It's pretty linear so it's hard to get lost in that part, just keep running forward and you'l make it.
This may need to be updated, its Version 1.0 which the game was patched at least 4 or so times already and this doesn't have any of them so it was very buggy so beware people
