the original game was based on lain, I'm pretty sure they even used a screenshot of lain but with some filters on to represent the protagonist it was about a girl with psychosis going to buy some milk, so i guess lain is pretty fitting
Do anyone know how to fix the missing credits. (SPOILERS) When I got done talking to the boy in the dream and wake up, it showed me that the credits were missing. How do you fix that? Or is it suppose to be like that? Please anyone who finished it let me know asap!
It was fixed day after release on steam. Happened to me too, ngl I thought it was intentional. Had my sister mess around in the files since she knows renpy, but there is definitely something coded after the cutscene, game's just not recignizing the right files. Guess we'll have to hope for an update patch here.
note that this is technically a sequel to "bag of milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk" which you can play for free and it's super short and fairly creepy at some points
Loved this game, It really made me felt attached to the protagonist in a way few pieces of art made me. I wouldn't buy it without playing it before, and fortunately playing the game for free made me want to buy it (and the first one) just to support the dev.
looks interesting, i'm getting the idea that it's one of those games that breaks the 4th wall and reacts to what you do by directly addressing and to make you feel guilty and such but i'm not sure, might be a good thing to play with friends for fun, or alone for the spooks (if it's indeed what i think it is)
Man I'm still conflicted and half suprised/sad that no more games try to play with the 4th wall with all the technology and "easier than ever to be an indy dev" we have nowadays But at the same time half happy it doesn't happen because if so many 4th wall breaking game would pop up, it would become stale and boring to see that (just like all those walking simulator that try to be "the new amnesia", or anything like that)
agreed, i recently got back into DDLC and wish more games would do something new with the 4th wall like it did. but yeah also agreed too many 4th wall breakers and it would become stale, better have a few good games than too many trash ones

The Serial Experiment Lain ps1 Game was already really (REALLLY) weird and fucked up.
