Sort of, it seems perfectly playable but other than shadows, equipped items and dialog portraits character sprites don't show up for me.I haven't gotten around to installing WoW for the windows 7 port of dx12 that it should include so it might work better for you if you have done that.
world of warcraft uses a version of dx12 that microsoft put out so that they wouldn't need to develop for older versions of directx, im sure the microsoft website somewhere has it for download, but for most people with world of warcraft its easy to just grab the dlls (d3d12.dll , d3dcompiler_47.dll , and dxilconv7.dll) and just dump it into the folder where the games .exe file is https://prnt.sc/22n9876https://anonfiles.com/veD5d306v1/World_of_Warcraft_rar personally i wouldn't choose to trust random dlls on the internet, but downloading wow is free if you want to get the dlls in a non third party way
shrug maybe you need to update your video drivers? im on win7, but i never tried to launch the game without the dlls like the other guy did im using a 1080, with the latest drivers availiable for 7 (472.12)

Maybe it's similar to 10 million money bug where the game freezes whenever you shop in either grocery/flower shop/Arthur's shop/Raven's shop once your money is over 10 million.
I suspect this bug is when I reach Year 10. It was supposed to be in Year 4 if I exclude 5 Years skip after having a child and 1 Year skip after finishing Arc 2.
So, I can hear all of the audio, and I can play the opening song, but everything else is a black screen for me. I'm trying to figure out if my computer can't run it, or if something else is wrong. Does anyone know?

i think the problem heres my igpus opengl version outdated, so i tried using mesa3d for using vulkan over opengl, and thats works, i got 25-30fps.^_^
So if any of you ever decides to play past-Year 9, I wish your luck to get over Year 10 bug. That's it if you ever reach Year 4 with Arc 2 finished and after childbirth which skips you 6 years.

Someone keeps telling me to install older PLAZA version to "fix" the bug but I still COULDN'T find WHICH file. If it means update file, it keeps FAILING to install even if I have 6+GB space left. Tried that Torrent link but the result is still the same.
As far i know it only change spirit or maybe model,its not completely change the gender it's still Called prince if you change spirit to female or called princess on opposite, also the voice too
im not sure about this edition, but i know that the 3ds version its just a costume you can change into ( i think you can change into costumes of the bachlors/baclorettes as well) all the npcs will still call you by whatever sex you started the game with

If I ever have regrets, it's: -haven't fully finished Sharance Maze -haven't maxed Emery Flower -haven't tamed every boss, especially each Native Dragon.
I never had that problem, but ... the game has other bugs, for example, if you exceed 10 million gold and try to buy in any store, the game will freeze. The game also freezes if you quickly scroll the skill list from bottom to top using the keyboard controls. The worst thing is that the developers have not yet released a patch to fix this.
Edit: After doing several tests, I would like to confirm that this version 17.12.2021 is the one that gives the error of freezing after exceeding 10 million... the previous version of "plaza" that needs to be installed does not give this error... I do not know if this is a bug from the developer or the crackers, in any case, if someone exceeds 10 million, you must use the version prior to this one to continue playing without this bug.
Just download the plaza version, they put the plaza version back to download. You can continue playing from the plaza version without any problem. You can also delete that version once you install the plaza version, the save games are not saved in the game folder.

For the ppl that are stuck on a black screen with sound after the intro, if you have Intel HD Graphics someone posted a fix in the steam support thread: manually download and install the last video driver from intel site which is 30.0.101.1069, worked for me.
the dlls are for windows 7 ... so it must be different problem than missing sprites from windows 7
have you tried making sure your .net framework is updated? checking your graphics setting and making sure your drivers are up to date? have you made sure visual c++ stuff is all installed? it seems that others are reporting other odd issues on the support page on steam so maybe there will be a patch later?
Oh wow, it got a PC release!? I remember playing this on Citra some ways back. The audio and frame rate were kinda scuffed though cause 3DS emulation at the time was eh. Looks like I'm replaying. Fingers crossed RF5 gets PC too.

Get the MSVC Release package. Then, all you need is to copy OPENGL32.DLL, LIBGLAPI.DLL and LIBGALLIUM_WGL.DLL to rf4s folder link: (https://github.com/pal1000/mesa-dist-win/releases/tag/22.0.1) size 100mb+.

Aaaand...it solved! Shopping no longer freezes the game.
You can continue playing from the plaza version without any problem.
You can also delete that version once you install the plaza version, the save games are not saved in the game folder.
