Inside it, there's 2 folders: "Eco" and folder "Eco.Server-Fix.0.9.2.4.Crack". Go inside the "Eco.Server-Fix.0.9.2.4.Crack" folder, and copy both .exe files. Now go to the other "Eco" folder, then "Eco_Data" and "Server". Paste those 2 .exe files there, and replace. Now open the game from shortcut and start a new world. This is what fixed it for me. -- EVERYONE WHO GETS LOGIN SCREEN: Right click the Eco.exe and Create Shortcut. Move the shortcut to Desktop. Right click the shortcut and click Properties. On the "Target" line (on the Shortcut tab) where it says the directory of the file, press Spacebar once and add "-steam" (without "). Then go to this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nm1fp6-6gO0Wf8KH4z-IVScPRxudIwZ-/view and download the RAR file. Did you try opening as Administrator? Also, when it crashes, does it redirect you to the Steam page for Eco? If yes, that means you didn't install the Steam Fix properly from the Google Drive link.
My game crashed until i downloaded the RAR file. It's a Steam fix. Did you download it from the Google Drive link and copy pasted it into the "Eco" folder? You also need to have Steam open when you run the game.
sadly tutorial is broken in game. i get to putting 10 logs into stockpile i did that but game wont register it so tutorial gets stuck at pput 10 logs into stockpile. yeah i decided to quit game. If the tutorial isnt working pprobably other things are broken as well

The voting doesnt work it is using fixed id, everybody on my server put diferent steamid in the settings, but on voting it uses the same for everybody on server can we get a fix for this ?

From what info i could find on the crack the only solution that 100% works is getting this fix https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nm1fp6-6gO0Wf8KH4z-IVScPRxudIwZ-/view and pasting it into your game folder its a steam fix it only works on cracked servers that have the same fix so you won't be able to play on official servers same with the buyers they won't be able to play with you

it would seem the file is missing any sort of \steam_settings\ file path up to \x86_64\ works but the rest is not there. that might explain why the game is unplayable too idk any ideas?

Yeah i already logged that way in and i've got new game host game etc etc. but i can't play on my world nor multiplayer world aka. unplayable, i can only look at the main menue and that's it.
I can play the game, I started the game with eco.exe, after login, just click the space key once and the password is the same, then I created a world, installed two things for the Windows operating system and I can play without problems . Just enter anything space in the login form for the client part. I manage to start the game with both login and password " " (space). Then you can create a local world from the game, no need to start the server manually (solo play only).
Oh right. It was my fault that game wasn't cracked and i had to find crack on my own. Still only managed to get only past logging screen. No gaming whatsoever.

Search for a steamworks fix. It's basically a multiplayer crack that you put in the game directory and it uses your steam account. Your friends have to do the same and you can join each others' servers.

you have to run STARTGAME.BAT file for start the game. To play alone, you need to run the ٍُSERVER.EXE file from the server folder To play online, go to YOUR WORLD section On the top right hand side, you will see a little "+" symbol. Anyone else getting this i can join some online games but no matter what i try it wont let me jump or move! no matter what i try to do. I ended up playing a single player game and i found this game to be very difficult no matter how much rock i mine and wood i cut, it wouldnt let me make a stupid campfire! even to make a worktable i had to delete it get all the wood and then make it! Anything i tried to put into cue the game adds it but when you get the materials to complete the job it wont let you add them into your cued job so you have to make another one and then the game will add the materials to the 2nd one and begin working on it the 1st i had to delete! I made a storage area to hold materials thinking it would take it out automatically to get around this bug but nope! To get the simplest tasks done takes forever! I had to start over 2 times because the game is so buggy sometimes! It was kinda fun but the current setup i think really kills the fun and makes it borderline annoying!!! To beat the game? You really need other players! Even one other player would have been enough for me to win the game, too much time passes way too quickly! I tried to make it easier so i'd have a chance to win so i pushed the meteor strike out to 160 days only to be taken down in the late medieval period! It's a really nice concept but they needed to simplify some things to speed up the process for players. I'm very surprised this would have been a game i would have bought but thanks to igg-games letting me try it out 1st NO WAY! I would have lost my money! So Thank you igg-games! You do gamers a real service keeping us from buying half done games! I really hope when this game gets out of early alpha they fix some of the problems it has real potential.
Am a bit late with an answer but in C:\Users"USER"\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\settings There is a file called "account_name.txt", You can change your name in there.

I know a few older posts talking about setting ""RequireAuthentication": false"in the http://User.eco but my http://User.eco file doesn't have that line even in the file, does it need to be added? Once I've done this how do I launch the game to play on this server. I'm also having issues getting past the login. Cheers Edit: To clairfy I did as you said, and I got the run come up making a world and now I have a server page up with a bunch of things. Never owned a server before so I have things like Plugins, Backup, Chat, Controller, and a bunch of other tabs. And as the the other reply says below the RequireAuthentication was already set to false. Just no idea how to actually launch the game besides the main .exe which takes me to the login part which I cant bypass. Edit 2 Electric Boogaloo: Nvm everyone i figured a way on my own. Basically to bypass login you need to launch the launcher and launch via steam, there should be a checkbox and a dropdown box. Then after having made your own server as the others have directed you just go to Your Worlds and it should be there usually under the name Koltan I think. I hope this helps.

So I changed my name in the ECO ALI23 and changed the target directory. I also shutdown Steam to prevent any sus activity on my profile. I then created a solo/private world but every time I try to play on it the I get the error that my login info is incorrect. Any help?
I have figured it out. You have to run ecoserver32 and when it opens completley (there will be another tab with server settings) go into users>config and set Require authentication to false. If you want to remove meteor (game ending lil bugger) go to disasters and set generate meteor to false or just add X amount of days.

They can't update just because every Tom, Dick, and Harry want them too. They first need access to the updated version and then they have to crack the new version. It is a process, and for a game like this, it is not much of a priority.

just go to Eco_Data/plugins/Ali213 open it and search for username and change it from iggames to whatever you want and that worked for me + you have to do stuff with the shortcut that Jpr974 explained.
steam shortcut trick is only work in login screen and doesn't work in server connect by invalid login info you need to change a server config (if you're using the local server and you are admin) try to edit the "RequireAuthentication" to false in Eco\Eco_Data\Server\Configs\http://users.eco config file, it allow you to connect a server with invalid login info it works at least for me

So I don't see what your saying cause there is no steamfolder in the download link you gave me and I didn't buy ECO so its not in my actual steam folder, therefor you cant copy and replace a nonexistent file. Help me out here lol

I did make a version for 7.8.9 but no I need to keep updating it every time (though we had someone test the old DLL with the new update and it works for some reason)
You are actually able to, but the game is supossed to be a masive game like life is feudal so.. the offline mode is actually pointless as the game will become impposible to beat.
game is very easy to beat by yourself, the meteor doesnt progress while you are offline so you have 30 days of actual play time to beat it, first time around i beat it in 12 days.
thx, after doing the update i get no folder Eco Server\Config\Users I only get: Eco Server\Configs with "s" and without Users-folder in it. But with http://Users.eco. This file you have to edit. But how can i use my old 7.6.3-server and using the world on the 7.8.5-server? And how get i permissions to my doors and have my inventory? I named me in ali213.ini like the last name i had. But ingame(in chat) my name is another name. So out of: mia mi is made to: mia%252520mi. The same way for orther useres. If i rename the player with the change_login.vbs from 6.8.3 and using the old or a new token the name cahnges into: mia%20mi (not mia mi). If i change the name in the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Strange Loop Games\Eco\http://login.eco. The name is changed in it like before. If i write protect the file, the game doesn´t start correct. You only can access the menu. And how can i rename my server? It´s now called DESKTOP-MESSLAKH
Had the same problem, but that just means you can't create the default world. Just choose "Create random terrain" (or something like that) when creating your server

every time i try to start a game it just returns to the load menu and i can't seem to get around this, i've tried using a few different versions and i've tried running as admin but nothing works, what do i do?
Which files are needed to save a server. If you f.e. wan´t to play 2 games. 1 game with one friend, and another game with another friend. So you have to switch the game. But which files are needed for that? Only the Game.db in the storage folder?
If another player wan´t to logg in, the logged in player gets: "logged in elsewhere" and is disconnected from the server(started wiht this folder: Server Folder (Configured for accept cracked players)). Solved: change_login.vbs ->everyone has to have different auth-tokens.

i can confirm that 7.4.5 works and that you just have to enter username and password and you need to login first with 12345678 username and password first and then exit game and click change login inside the game directory and you should be able to choose your own login details now

Any idea how I can admin myself in this game? It requires an ID from either their website, or Steam. Since I obviously didn't purchase it, I have neither.
You could type /whoami in the chat of the game to get your ID but you should change your name and the default ID in the SteamConfig.ini file in Eco_Data\Plugins (Search for "PlayerName", "SteamUserID" & "SteamUserIDH" and don't forget to uncomment theses lines by removing the ";") After that eco will regenerate your ID, there is a way to edit the generated ID but I don't remember in what file is it.

its probably because u didnt change your ign might be because you have 2 of the same name in the same server you may want to change that n see what happens

i already play with v7.0.3 with my own server with some friends. so i found, you need to copy registery key in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Strange Loop Games\Eco But i have another problem with 7.0.3, all players are disconnected from my server every 1min. it's work fine yesterday

guys, Pretty sure that now you can play with your friends. LAN gameplay is now possible! However you may have same name as your friend so be sure to change it later on xD also you need to use something like evolve, tunngle or himachi to be able to play on LAN
Just logout from the main menu by pressing 'Esc' key and type in your desired name and any random password it no longer matters whether the account is registered in the main strangeloopgames site anymore. Edit: it's a bug, whatever u try to do the game just combines the profiles of users and we're working on a work-around ATM.

15 February : I was able to play 2 or 3 days ago , the game on steam is now updated , so you'll not be able to play neither on solo or multiplayer. 1st server i created is not able to start now , but there is a second server folder and it worked , and of course , when i connect , says "Invalid Token Login" . With your account , the game check if your game is updated , and it's not , so you can't play at all. btw , this is on the 0.7.0.3.

when i make my server i spawn as me, darkygod. When a friend tried to join he is me as well, he get not hud and is me so we can't play. Using tunngle any idea ?
Okay so i managed to get 7.0.5 and 7.0.3 to work while using tunngle. Login as usual but dont make a server just start a game. If your port are open and you see bottom right in tunggle that the icon is green you should be able to make it work. Once you started the game, friend are now allowed to join. I have'nt tried making it work with the server yet since my port are closed but my friend has port open and i can join him. Ill try when im done at my job then ill update here to make a mini tutorial
uhm think they changed how login verification works, i'm not sure but i think now the game checks if your account on their site has a game license (tbh i dont recall if that was already there but ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )

Hi, I try to play before and after you worked on it. Before i cannot generate the world but now it generates the world fully but at the end of the loading before launching the login fails.
to do the server thing i open it let it do its thing then WHAT don't see any other servers other then the one i make how do i find more so i can play with other people

Funny -- I had no issues getting in (it's really not complicated, and by the time I came by the tutorial was stickied), but the game crashes every single time I chop down a tree. I can just start the game back up and the dead tree is waiting to be chopped up, but, emm, no. :P
Sure did. Getting into MP became WAY harder. Only one person managed to make it but others are still falling in the hole. I really love their new changes however poor optimization IMO but still great game overall
i tried tunngle and evolve both seemed to work fine. Never tried hamachi before, but it does have a static IP which evolve doesn`t support and i think tunngle had it too. i played on COD WWII and it worked great except the fact that the servers were in US and it was all laggy :P
I dont own the game, so whenever i can find 7.10 i'll be able to give you an eta, sadly atm i only found 7.08 which is kinda useless atm since the game has been updated a few hours ago i think
win7 64 here it just keeps giving me ecoserver stopped working . cant create a new game . cant load a game .. always same crash error i have ecoserver.exe open from ( eco_server ) folder and yes i have a decent PC i7 with a GTX 970 and 16gb RAM .. etc help appreciated
It will take a while. The update isint released ATM (at the time Im typing) Itll be up in few hours. But, the game also needs to get cracked with the latest version in order to be played. If you cant wait then feel free to buy the game :P
I sort of asked why I wanted to play a lot and I do not feel like paying ... kind of obvious. At no point did I ask to update now, just as soon as possible.
Alright, I figured it out. I've tested it multiple times and have gotten the same character and the same world. I couldn't have managed without "josh koyle" so big thanks to him. Before doing anything, locate the file in "Eco.v0.7.0.3\Eco_Data\Server\Configs\http://Users.eco" open that file in Notepad, change the variable "RequireAuthentication" to FALSE. Once you've done that, then start the executable "EcoServer" in "Eco.v0.7.0.3\Eco_Server" Once that loads up, create a new world OR you can just click continue and it will indirectly connect to your server you started. It wont say you're in the server, but you are. Don't close the server executable and you should be able to play just fine. I've tested it multiple times, and everything checks out.

Welp, we haven't tried Tunngle yet but without a friggin perfect instruction manual or guide we're just experimenting with Himachi, Evolve and other apps. The game just doesn't doesn't wanna work ;P
Before starting the server just create a world using the "New" option, it may or may not let you connect, but once you do that then restart your client game, and then start your server, then your client. and Just press continue or load the same world.
Make sure your computer meets the server requirements. Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent. The more CPUs the better. 4GB of ram 1GB HDD space this varies on world size. Also make sure you have a 64bit OS installed.

Ive tried many things to make the MP work. We tried evolve to join via LAN but that still didnt worked. Hopefully if i can take all the notes youve typed. i ve tested in LAN multiplayer with my cousin and brother,it works it just requires a workaround that many people posting here is unable to do,either cause lack of intelligence,or lack of time to start thinkering and find by themselves,i made a post explainning how to do it but you all are too lazy to read it,so you do not deserve to have a hosted multiplayer no more support given for this,is my last post in this game

However, unlike others, Eco caused alot of problems for me. Me n my friend we both r experienced with making our ways into MP for pirated games. in another post you advised to change IP to Evolve or Himatchi program Welp, I've tried both but the game won't lemme in my server. I have to keep public server 'True' and I have to keep IP to 'any' to join my own server. After this, I changed them back to what you said and I think that's the way into the Multiplayer (I mean the friend should be able to join then)
try addind your hamachi ip or static ip to windows host file,it always worked for me i recomend you getting a dns or static ip vpn like hamachi or tungle or something like that %windir%/system32/drivers/etc open host file with notepad add your static ip or wan ip there like this 192.168.x.x (press tab) localhost hamachi ip(press tab) localhost http://your.dns.com(tab) locahost<---get a free dns 127.0.0.1(tab again) localhost save it and restart your computer if you have port problems open router adress in web browser 192.168.0.1 or 1.1 and go to port foward and add new rule tcp udp port 3000 and 3001 if you wanna go risky check if theres a dmz option in router save and reboot it

I can play solo on my server but when my girlfriend attempt to log, the game doesn't create a profile, and she got the same character that mine. Game is thus unplayable in multi, at least for me. Maybe the crack do that ?
Game works fine, but it creates a new character each time you restart both your server and game . Solution is to keep your server and game on all time to never encounter this problem .
I have the same problem so far i found no way to fix it only the host keep his Character !Too fix this you have to make sure you log in with the same password and account name always EXACTLY the same or it will create a new char
Server making works , I joined mine , saved the server , quit the game . Next day , opened game , opened server , was on another profile and lost all of my stuff because I was created a new profile , on the users id added a #1 , next hour , quit game , stop server , open them up , another profile . You need to keep the game and server on to never encounter this problem !

if all your doing is clicking play it wont work you have to go in to eco_data/server/configs and edit http://users.eco with notepad and change the line that says "RequireAuthentication": true, change true to false then you can load the game fine
So me and my friend got multiplayer to work he is hosting the server but after a restart the game doesnt recognize me aymore my char was Pac and now its Pac#1 and i have to create a new char. This happen everytime we restart the server. He can still play his old Char. Anyone know how to fix this ? Pls send halp D:

Hi, When i want to launch the game (server.exe open), i have an error "failed to load mono". File is in "Eco.v0.7.0.3\Eco_Data\Mono". I dont find any solution (win10).

also the game runs like crap cause its made in unity after you login change options in advanced remove bloom,shaft,oclusion and stuff,my computer is 7 year old and i get 10-18 fps with dual core 4 ghz, 1 gb video card pci-e and 8 gb ram :( i expected low performance cause of alpha,but this is kinda bad
Hello. I have a problem with my server. I cant run for office from my webserver. When i am pressing in the browser the "Run For Office" button, a smaller window pops up to write a speech. Then, i write a small random text and the window disappears and anything happens. The same happens when i want to propose a law. It says to me "Invalid Login Credentials". Do you have any idea what's wrong? Thanks in advance.
Thanks to lale Idioma, it was easy to start the game!😘👍 Unfortunately, there are still disconnections quite often during gameplay. So maybe it's still not worth playing yet, until it's stable enough. LOOKING GOOD The game looks great, like what Minecraft 2 should look like, if it's ever made. ha ha On the other hand, Minecraft with mods could almost look as good as this, I think. Minecraft with "Laacis2's Natural" texture pack (and maybe Chocapic shaders, it seems => https://i.imgur.com/BrliSro.jpg Except the great 3D models. I can't stand the blocky looking animals in Minecraft, so it's a real pleasure to finally see recognizable animals in Eco! lol Game could be optimized further though. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but still quite resource-intensive, for a game which doesn't use photo-realistic graphics... But gee, they sure don't joke around with ecology! lol I wouldn't call the game very realistic, but Minecraft feels "arcade" compared to this one. Actually, Eco is much more comparable to pure survival games like Rising World, I guess. Except it focuses even more on living in harmony with the nature, so make sure to plant some seeds, and don't chop more wood than you need! lol EVEN LONEWOLVES NEED FRIENDS Ultimately, the only problem is for us people who downloaded the game illegally... Cos we might not be able to complete the game... lol Unless I'm wrong, I'm not sure we can actually destroy that meteor in time, if we do it all alone...🙄 Everything takes obviously way more time than if you had a few friends accompanying you... And well, it seems that we can't play with other players with this cracked version, right? Also, as a result, this relative slowness makes any task feels more like a chore, although the core game isn't supposed to be boring. So far, it definitely plays like a multiplayer game to me. A guy on Steam sums it up better than me: "Because of the incredibly high skill point costs of having multiple specialties, you need to have large numbers of people playing to even have a chance of unlocking all the skills you need. And, with the way the research is done, often requiring arbitrary bits and bobs from other specialties to unlock, you will need people in every specialty to be able to play." RELAX, WE'LL ALL BE DEAD SOON😝🍷 On a side note, I don't feel too good about having a deadline... But anyway the latest update fixes that, and now "you gain 24 times the skill points in singleplayer"😳 According to what I read, the developers will keep "fine-tuning" the single-player mode so keep an eye on future updates!😊
Yeah it was really easy to start once I followed lale Idioma and I agree it looks really good and has alot of potential but for two little things, 1: the time limit and 2: if you beat the time limit and stop the Asteroid its game over anyway, the only real difference in the time limit seems to be Death or happily ever after and the time limit thing just bugs me lol. Maybe someone will come up with a hack to stop the clock on the asteroid and just let you explore and build. Maybe they should add a Sandbox option to the game?
Open the server application from the server folder located in main directory , launch the game. Login, start new game fill in the name and start . (If new game crashes, it's common don't worry, now you'll have 'load' option on main menu and use that) and you'll pop in the server
Whenever I try to load a world I've already started, It gives me the error saying that the eco server has crashed and it just goes back to the menu, no clue how to fix it since I tried loading and tried joining after clicking 'new".
I have opened both server applications (one in eco_data/server and the other in eco_server) and tried to load and join, nothing worked. The server opens and there are two windows each time but it always says the server crashed when i try to join, even thought the server is still open.

May I know your PC specifications including your GPU/Graphics Card? To check your Specs: Open Run (Hotkey: Win+R) Type in 'dxdiag' Tell us the info about your processor and go to 'display' tab and tell the name of your Graphics Card.

Firstly, IGG doesn`t particularly looks into different pages of the games. so request for an update at http://igg-games.com/pc-game-request.html Secondly, the latest is 0.7.0.8 (9 coming very shortly) and Thirdly, this version works just fine.
That's weird, try to reinstall the game and please tell us which Graphics Card you're having. To check that, open Run and type in "dxdiag" go to display tab and tell the name
1º- start the game and make a world 2º- start server in eco_server folder 3º- wait... 4º- when its finished load the world this should work as it worked for me
Game is working,.. you DON'T need to make an account anywhere to play.. (it's cracked,.. ehemm.. yeah.. ehem.. where do you think you are? ) Just put whatever in the boxes and try ;-) You will need first to run the Eco_server, it will last a bit (try to change things if you feel so at the tabs to config the world) after that, start the game and click on JOIN. There will be the server (world) you just created.
someone need to host a 24/7 server cz if we play by our own its no fun :P (cracked version server because i dont think we can play with official ones due to the server checking which will again put us to invalid login token error)
well,.. didn't tryed too much,.. but at the tabs of the Eco_server there's one called NETWORK and there you change the name of the server and make it public and things like that,.. and there's also a ServerBrowserService with an internet direction so... The 'game' is cracked (don't leting you going in the internet), but it's 'conecting' through another program (Eco_server),.. i don't know if i'm telling silly things but there are some other 'cracked' games that work like this, arent there?
so i just spent like 30 mins to get into the game. tried 13 times... and finally got in. Im pretty sure multiplayer may/can/will work but the server version of your friend must be same as your game version which is 0.7.3 and i dont think you can join official servers... havent tested official ones yet. so anyway, to get into the game, Firstly try to create a new games many times and untick "generate new". after a few times, there should be a new world and "Load" option will be available. now go to Eco main game directory folder and go to "Eco_server". launch the server (will take couple mins) and then launch the game. Instead of clicking 'join' to connect to your server. Just load into the game you made and youll get in. Your server will work fine and be informing you that you just logged in.
Hello Start your server from Eco_data / Server (Wait for both windows to open) Then start the game go in add server and search for the server "localhost" and join. PS: you have to create an account on the official site of the game.
Google my name i scripted plenty of things and if you been anywhere on the internet then you would know you don't need to port forward to join a your own localhost server.

I downloaded 0.5.5.2, made an account but when I login it says unexpected character encountered while parsing value: < line 1, posistion 1 so whats the problem ? btw there is no other file or exe that came in the folder I downloaded, no patcher too...
So I downloaded and installed version 0.5.5.2, and before using the ECO Patcher, I got this weird error which everyone seems to have, the one about the value of line 1. So I quit the game, patch it, and after trying my username and password again I just simply get the error "Invalid username or password". I created an account via their site, confirmed their e-mail... So what am I doing wrong?

This doesn´t work aswell... at least for me. Installed 5.5.2 - worked fine, used Patcher to get 5.5.4 and Server - says "Invalid username or password" Account from kortal used in both cases. Any ideas how to fix this ?

There isn't a folder with the server. Just the eco.exe and two other folders. Neither have the server.exe in them. And not sure where to download it. Any help? I've got V 0.5.0 if that helps

Game works, just tested it You need to have an account, you can make one for free at the game website (you need to verify it too no big problem) Now let's look at the setup, go to Eco.v0.4.2->Server v0.4.2 and start EcoServer.exe this will come up with a window similar to command prompt, you'll know it has finished when another grey window comes up, here are all your server parameters, there are many tabs here and you can feel free to explore things since you but let's get back to the setting up, you need to go to the Users tab, it will show that the number of users is 0 since nobody as entered the server yet, then you have to click on the Config subpannel and change the option "RequireAuthentication" and set it to "False" (it's boolean value so there aren't many chances to make it wrong) after this you have to save the file (you do so like any normal file), you will need to keep it open since otherwise the local server will not show up, you can now launch the game and login with the account you prevoiusly made, and that's all. I've no ideas if other can join your lan server since I can test it but exprience tells me that it's most likely possible.

so for those who don't know how to work this just download the game unpack it then start up ServerWatcher.exe in the server folder now you can start up your game Eco.exe you will now get a login screen where you need to put in account name and password for this step you have to go to https://ecoauth.strangeloopgames.com and make a account on there site. (it's a free account that is mostly used for news letters if you don't own the game) now get back in your game and enter in the account and password you just made and it will load in and your own server will be shown ad the top have fun enjoy and come back soon
Yeah so this is a total Trojan... Ran it with 5 programs inside a VM and all gave the result that it would destroy my computer if I let it run. So I would recommed that you don't download this, or anything from IGG-GAMES ever. Lol

you dont need servers XD run the server watcher in the folder that the .exe is not in, then run the game. once you get the address box thingy empty them both so nothing is in them, then press connect

Now you have a shortcut, right click it -> properties -> add -steam to the end of the Target field so it looks something like this:

the discord community listed below does not list the name of the server anywhere, only the IP . but there is no way to connect via IP with the version here .
so anyone with a server name we can actually find would be super!
and pasting it into your game folder its a steam fix it only works on cracked servers that have the same fix so you won't be able to play on official servers same with the buyers they won't be able to play with you

Edit: To clairfy I did as you said, and I got the run come up making a world and now I have a server page up with a bunch of things. Never owned a server before so I have things like Plugins, Backup, Chat, Controller, and a bunch of other tabs. And as the the other reply says below the RequireAuthentication was already set to false. Just no idea how to actually launch the game besides the main .exe which takes me to the login part which I cant bypass.
Edit 2 Electric Boogaloo: Nvm everyone i figured a way on my own. Basically to bypass login you need to launch the launcher and launch via steam, there should be a checkbox and a dropdown box. Then after having made your own server as the others have directed you just go to Your Worlds and it should be there usually under the name Koltan I think. I hope this helps.

Stupid that we need to dig through the comments in order to get this working. How about some decent install instructions. This game has never worked out-of-the-box like so many others have.

Solved: change_login.vbs ->everyone has to have different auth-tokens.
Step 2: exit the game
Step 3: then go into the game main file and look for the change login script
Step 4 run the script and then choose your own login and name you will use in game

After that eco will regenerate your ID, there is a way to edit the generated ID but I don't remember in what file is it.
but if he connect it takes forever and he doesnt get into the game. In

t released ATM (at the time Im typing) Itll be up in few hours. But, the game also needs to get cracked with the latest version in order to be played. If you cant wait then feel free to buy the game :POnce you've done that, then start the executable "EcoServer" in "Eco.v0.7.0.3\Eco_Server" Once that loads up, create a new world OR you can just click continue and it will indirectly connect to your server you started. It wont say you're in the server, but you are. Don't close the server executable and you should be able to play just fine.
I've tested it multiple times, and everything checks out.

When i want to launch the game (server.exe open), i have an error "failed to load mono". File is in "Eco.v0.7.0.3\Eco_Data\Mono". I dont find any solution (win10).

I cant run for office from my webserver.
When i am pressing in the browser the "Run For Office" button, a smaller window pops up to write a speech.
Then, i write a small random text and the window disappears and anything happens.
The same happens when i want to propose a law. It says to me "Invalid Login Credentials".
Do you have any idea what's wrong?

Game could be optimized further though. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but still quite resource-intensive, for a game which doesn't use photo-realistic graphics...
But gee, they sure don't joke around with ecology! lol
I wouldn't call the game very realistic, but Minecraft feels "arcade" compared to this one.
Actually, Eco is much more comparable to pure survival games like Rising World, I guess. Except it focuses even more on living in harmony with the nature, so make sure to plant some seeds, and don't chop more wood than you need! lol

According to what I read, the developers will keep "fine-tuning" the single-player mode so keep an eye on future updates!😊

this should work as it worked for me
don`t click "join" which takes you to server browsing.
instead, click "load" and load the world made by the server.
to know which is yours...
Open Run command and type in "dxdiag"
Go to "display" tab and tell the name of your card
Just put whatever in the boxes and try ;-)
You will need first to run the Eco_server, it will last a bit (try to change things if you feel so at the tabs to config the world)
after that, start the game and click on JOIN. There will be the server (world) you just created.
s no fun :P (cracked version server because i dont think we can play with official ones due to the server checking which will again put us to invalid login token error)The 'game' is cracked (don't leting you going in the internet), but it's 'conecting' through another program (Eco_server),.. i don't know if i'm telling silly things but there are some other 'cracked' games that work like this, arent there?
m pretty sure multiplayer may/can/will work but the server version of your friend must be same as your game version which is 0.7.3 and i dont think you can join official servers... havent tested official ones yet. so anyway, to get into the game, Firstly try to create a new games many times and untick "generate new". after a few times, there should be a new world and "Load" option will be available. now go to Eco main game directory folder and go to "Eco_server". launch the server (will take couple mins) and then launch the game. Instead of clicking 'join' to connect to your server. Just load into the game you made and youll get in. Your server will work fine and be informing you that you just logged in.Start your server from Eco_data / Server (Wait for both windows to open) Then start the game go in add server and search for the server "localhost" and join. PS: you have to create an account on the official site of the game.

I did as Iale Idioma suggested after doing everything and wasting a hour it still comes up with invalid username/password! version 0.4.2 i tried v0.5.5.2 and it said login failed login timed out, sorry but this so called fix doesnt work! I hope igg-games can fix it but i doubt it as this is a multiplayer game! as i see looks like all of us had the same failed login! ill keep game a few more days nothing changes then uninstall

So I quit the game, patch it, and after trying my username and password again I just simply get the error "Invalid username or password". I created an account via their site, confirmed their e-mail... So what am I doing wrong?
Installed 5.5.2 - worked fine, used Patcher to get 5.5.4 and Server - says "Invalid username or password"
Account from kortal used in both cases. Any ideas how to fix this ?

You need to have an account, you can make one for free at the game website (you need to verify it too no big problem)
Now let's look at the setup, go to Eco.v0.4.2->Server v0.4.2 and start EcoServer.exe
