Game devs who made both Danganronpa and Zero Escape merged companies into one company called Too Kyo Games where I think made a real life visual novel game called Death Comes True and this is their 2nd game trying to hook players from both their fanbase by having the first part of the game about everyone getting killed and only one can survive and the events happens underwater where things gonna get destroyed with puzzle element but in reality, it's like Zanki Zero, a new genre that both companies are trying to explore.
As of this game, this game is about a group of middle school children mostly who had their city hit by a meteor and then getting kidnapped with some strange mastermind intending to kill all of them and their goal is to go back to their country and figure out what happened there in hope of understanding the weird phenomenons that happen around them and as for it's genre, it's a platformer game where characters have unique abilities whom you use to kill monsters and stuff using the right weakness, in the right time.
Make sure to put the three steam files from the CODEX>World'sEndClub_Data>Plugins>x86_64 folder from the codex-worlds.end.club disc file thingy into the actual game's plugin folder where the World'sEndClub_Data folder is.

These kind of game is already common and even has young fans who doesn't ever mind it, especially in asian market... People who immediately think of "omg kids!! this is for pedophiles!!1" then they're the sus one
If you asked me, Spike Chunsoft tried to kill multiple children in their past game but I don't mean ones who are like 16 like in Danganronpa, I mean the ones below that age in Ultra Despair Girls, they are doing it again for the plot here and they gonna die but it's no way near how they killed kids in grusesome way like it happened in Zanki Zero which is amazing game but only if Horror is your thing.
