This release has a bad crack. I've uploaded a fix that includes the three files from Lost Tales 1 and then it works. The password for the 7zip file is "123".

I've re-uploaded a new version of the patch (with the correct appid in SteamEmu's INI file) to fix the issue with it overwriting the save-games of HotK:TLT1. 🤦

I guess I'll have to play TLT1 again. 🤷

Worked for me, but only because i have hero of the kingdom the lost tales 1. I copied 2 files in the lost tales 1 :steam_emu and SteamAPI.dll. Then i pasted these 2 files in the lost tales 2 folder and voila. The game worked after that.

All fixes till now is bulshit. Have any installed Version 1 on the same PC this fixes used the Profiles of Part 1 and the Savegames of Part 1 will delete or damaged with this fixes.
I hope someone will repair or created a right fix.
