I have a game braking bug which got fixed by the devs already. When I have to inspect the grave, the camera angle is set in a way that i cant insepct anything, which means i cant progress. The devs published in the steam forum a manual save state, where this section is skipped. However, i need the add on "victorian starter pack" to run the save state. Could you guys please upload an update which includes this pack?
actually you can use a tool for unreal engine games to unlock free cam and if youre precise enough you can clip your cam into the objects that you need to observe and it will work, I did that for myself as I had the same problem
I keep getting crash, the screen closed itself then i start from the last thing i did so i reached the cemetery but I already got crashed more than 10 times i don't think i can play this game
there is no password, if there is one, you downloaded the wrong file, be aware of the rule "third time is a charm". Only by clicking third time at "download" the site will redirect you to a proper file, and you have to apply the rule twice, that is 6 clicks
Hmmm, i played a bit and im not sure if it's a bug or some weird anti-piracy issue:
On the cemetery when i have to find clues on the grave i can only look up straight in the sky....saw in a video the clues are on the ground but i cant bring the sight down so low. Weird.
Edit: I looked elsewhere and it really seems to be a common bug that prevents you from progressing further right after the prolouge mission
Have you tried cursors or WSAD? I soon will be there myself, but I noticed that during observation you cannot lower the cursor by mouse alone, but you have to use WSAD to move to lower sections of observation
No that doesnt work, you cant get the camera down enough no matter what you try.
Edit: Didnt even try to play further as i already had some weird situation on the first case. When you have to find the ex-navy guy...in the clue screen he didnt show as ex-navy...i looked it up on the internet and picked the guy in the right spot. So i guess there will be more bugs like this and i think it may be some hidden anti-piracy protection that messes your game up. So i didnt bother to play further
Strange because I finished the cemetery section without any problems, neither in the first case, seems to be something with graphics only in your case, try to change graphics settings to epic just for these momentts, I had similar glitches in original AC Valhalla and it was resolved like this, because the game only acted fine on highest details, I am currently free roaming fine after visiting the grave
Also, maybe it glitched because it lacked previous clues? I have a habit of "licking the walls" and I made Sherlock remember the funeral before going there
it is not anti-piracy because we both have the same version and I have no problem whatsoever. Neither in cemetery, nor in ex navy, maybe it has something to do with pinning mechanic? Game actually explains that Sherlock behaves differently when you have certain evidence pinned. Try these solutions, because I swear to you, this is not antipiracy, game is playable.
I solved the ex navy bet, BUT I needed to have the cane pinned while talking to this guy, I also solved the case " the ghost hunter" but at some moment I needed to have evidence pinned to make Sherlock notice something
quick update. I encountered this bug in another case, but restoring controls to default fixed it for me, it gave me the prompt to move sherlock in concentration mode, where there was none before
Oh wow. The two young men are actually childhood friends. This is far removed from the original story, where the two men only met each other when they are already working adults (and Watson already has a family).
Oh okay, thanks. That said, having read the classic stories that were published as kettle-boiler articles, I don't recall there ever being a story about Holmes' time as a young man.

I did pin the clues in both instances so no idea what causes the bug, but as it seems im not the only one having it.
Think just wait a bit and try again a few updates later, just started The Witcher 3 again so im pretty occupied with gaming already :)
