ofcourse you CAN mod this game. just download the mod and use vortex as mod manager as usual, then go to C:\Users\Administrator (this is actually your PC username)\AppData\Local
you will see 2 folder called "Skyrim Special Edition" (call this folder A) and "Skyrim Special Edition GOG" (call this folder B), now you should copy all file in the folder A to folder B. and WHOALAA, your mod will perfectly working!

I figured out how to install this. Once you download all the files with updates you need to extract and install them in safe mode with admin privileges ( sometimes i got error idk why)
do i have to update them(.bat file) 1 by 1 or i can skip to the latest one, as well as the crack (codex) file to overwrite from old to latest or they (codex file)are completely reversible
did you copied the files from the crack folder into the game folder? alternatevly you can tell codex launcher to do it by ticking the box where it says it will do it

same problem, I mean it's really strange that you can't even see which .dll file from ISDone didn't work (and it's not unarc.dll like most web links say).

I believe that the problem is that this is an update for the Special Edition, if you read the name of the file. It should say that it is for the Anniversary Edition - CODEX.

in Skyrim SE you can't change the language in game, there's an INI file that you need to modify but i forgot what is it. and this is my first time trying the Anniversary Edition so I'll check it myself first, I'll tell you if i found out something

it is AE version but the only difference is that skyrim se is where they left it meaning 1.5.97 while this is 1.6.355.0.8 but both are same anniversary and special edition are same game, but this one is also gamepass which wont let you mod at all
I've been using this site for a long time and was never disappointed, but I guess there is a first time for everything. For once, the game is called "Anniversary edition", the installation is called "Anniversary edition" ..... but it's special edition. Keep in mind. this issue only started when I re-installed the game on a new computer, as before I had Anniversary edition installed with all DLC and creation club content. Now, I don't know why this is, if the original upload was taken down why can't it be re-uploaded. If that's the case, just remove this page, there is a Special Edition page already. This is just deceitful, and I'm honestly surprised.
except special edition and anniversary edition are same duh, its same game with more upgrades lets say, i personally would say downgrades coz this is gamepass edition which cant be moded. so yeah you can be dissapointed but by bethesda and ms or who bought bethesda. I have had quite a few false positives when launching games from this website, but it is the first time I'm seeing my anti-virus detecting the uninstaller executable as a malware. And on top of that, the crack doesn't properly install the game (it's nowhere to be seen in the applications or with a software that allows you to uninstall files, meaning that you have to use that shady file to properly uninstall the game).
The VirusTotal website also flags the uninstaller as heavily malicious (26 positive reports out of 69).
Can someone check this one out and confirms about whether it is safe or not ?
This is a release of RAZOR1911, most AV will warn false positives with their installer, because they used inno... (I can't remember their names), it's similar to what some repackers use this program. You can use it with confidence, I guarantee there is no harm.

Thank you for the reply. However, the thing is that the issue is not with the installer, but with the UNinstaller file.
I'm not sure if that is a completely normal thing or not, but it is the first game I have downloaded where I'm seeing this type of file being flagged, hence my suspicions.
I had even more suspicions because the game is not being recognized in the computer's applications list after being installed, which means that the only way to remove it once it is installed seems to be through the uninstaller file (the same one that is being flagged as a trojan/ransomware).
This is why I was being wary of that crack. The installer or launcher are often false positives, but is it a common occurence among cracks that the UNinstaller is the one file being flagged instead ?

Crashes when I try to open the game, it just opens and then it crashes to desktop without error pop up, the only thing I instaled on it is the Skyrim Script Extender
You need to crack it, if it´s an iso, mount it and go inside the folder until you find a folder with crack name and copy and paste the "steam_dll" archives into the game´s installation folder. If it´s NOT an iso, go inside this download´s folder and do the same thing, search for another folder with steam api and dll inside it, then copy paste.
After installing the 1.6.323 update I tried to install the 1.6.343 but the installer showed this error "Interface.bsa Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: -513280955" notification instead" while verifying the files. And now when I try to open the game it shows this error "Application Load Error 3:0000065432". Can someone please help?

Go to data folder in skyrim, you should see interface.bsa and another interface.bsa(followed with some text). Delete the OG interface.bsa and rename the second one to interface.bsa, this way it works ;)
Is the .exe supposed to have a name as strange as "7x100-x64"? There are a billion other .exe files you can run into with strange names that intend to ruin your PC if you use the wrong one.

i know everyone knows of this bug and i´ll be propably bugging you all but everytime i start skyrim AE with my near 300 mods and either start a new game or load a save, it ctd everytime after a few seconds, and yes i´ve read about the article and what to do, but don´t wanna disable half of my mods to be able to play skyrim partially...just will wait for a fix for it
bro this is not the place to ask this. if you are going in nearing 300 mods you need to know exactly which mods are conflicting with what read all the documentation that come with the mods turn of some mods and single them out and post about it on nexus. Modding the game is also part of playing Skyrim.

Now that's just not true. Special Edition (which anniversary edition is literally just an update of) still gets updated dozens of times every day on Nexus Mods

Has anyone figured out how to make mods work on this version? I've been at it all night and i can't figure it out. It's always asking me to "Log in" when i click MODS but even if i do, all i get is a load order screen, and i can't activate anything.

He ment that there is folder called "crack" or "codex",you need to copy everithing what's inside that folder and paste it in your game directory where you instaled your game. Hope it's now clearer
Yeah, you can do that but imo better is to do it manualy because antivirus/antymalware programs sometimes block those files/delete/put in quarantine etc. It happened to me many times so i just don't check that box and just do it manualy.
i'm so confused does this include all the new creation club content but you wouldn't be able to access mods? because i thought you got the anniversary upgrade and then you chose the content you wanted to actually include in your gameplay? and if so this version wouldn't have access to the online stuff to download it all?

Should have better graphics I think, next gen.. However I saw a youtube video about this version(anniversary) and special edition and the graphics are the same, 4k. This is just a resell and nothing more, according to that video.
Please actually look into something before falsely answering a question. Anniversary edition includes all of the previously released creation club content, plus newly released cc content. Seeing as it is a $20 upgrade from special edition, it's well worth the cost if you didn't buy the cc content before. There also are in fact graphical enhancements.

To be fair, just owning the base version of Skyrim on Steam, they gave me both the Special Edition and VR when they both came out. If they did that to all owners of the game on Steam, then a huge portion of people would only have bought the game a single time. I don't see why you need to buy it five to six times. Xbox One/PS4 player upgrades to Special/Anniversary, and/or goes to PC and buys the Steam version - being at max, 3 times and doing so still gave the people content to play with. i Reinstalled everything (the main game and the updates) cause i deleted the SkyrimSE.exe file by mistake.
i then followed the "_HOW TO INSTALL" text file and followed the steps, everything seemed alright until i tried to launch the game.
Since i reinstalled the game there should have been no problems on my side
I tried installing the game and updates while having the Antivirus turned off and still got the same error
Maybe one day we will with all the AI and Robot technology advancement

Delete the OG interface.bsa and rename the second one to interface.bsa, this way it works ;)
