Same. Also with an upgrade system and weapons that you don't lose when you die. "Jets'n'Guns 1&2" are like masterclasses in this genre.
Normally, I hate this genre, cause as soon as you get hit, you die and lose everything... at which point you might restart the whole game, since there is barely any chance to recover. But games like "Tyrian" made this genre finally great.
I've been dying to play this since I tried the demo but it just refuses to launch. It'll flash the icon in the task bar but then vanish. It'll seem like it's going to load if I run as admin but then just poof. Win11...any thoughts?

I prefer shoot-'em-ups where the planes can actually take more than a few hits.
