Indeed! That said, there have been 2D action-platformers (mostly) made by one person that is so much better than this game seemingly is. For example, there is Dust: An Elysian Tale.
This game claims to require skill and precision in platforming, however, the first thing you'll notice when you start playing is the insane input lag. In some instances, the PC wasn't swinging her sword for a second and a half or so after pressing the attack button. Sometimes even two or more seconds if you were moving. Made by one guy by the looks, so expect one guy's worth of quality.
