Old comment, I know, sorry I'm late. Writing this for whoever might be curious. The vibe is there. I have yet to finish the game, I'm over 15 hours in, but have so far enjoyed the characters (good voice acting, appealing designs) and plot (nice pacing and general quality of writing, well directed cutscenes). The story is more centered around typical xianxia stuff, whether that's good or bad is up to you. As for the graphics and cutscenes. The environments are very beautiful, even though they are not AAA looking, and there is pleasant background music to complement them. Characters are still a bit stiff and lack complex facial animations, but this isn't overly detrimental to the game. I got used to it. The gameplay is not bad, pretty standard action RPG stuff, but I enjoyed the Gujian 3 combat more: it felt much more responsive and challenging. The minigame department is lacking, what sucks the most is the card minigame, it's shallow and unfun. There's also a platforming minigame which is just decent. Both can be skipped if you're not into them but you'll inevitably miss out on some goodies. A word about the localisation: it's decent and more than enough to grasp what is going on. Nothing remarkable about it though, still a far cry from high quality translations judging by English alone. To summarize, if you find Gujian 3 good, this game should scratch the itch for more. I'm a die hard fan of the former and although I'm still heavily biased towards it, I'm satisfied with my experience and looking forward to progressing further in SF7.
So i finally downloaded it. Seriously this game runs extremely fine OOTB.
Story is interesting. Just the voices are... kind of not on my habits. The graphics are wonderful, all the landscapes, monsters, characters are really well crafted and seriously, i'd expect more games like this one regarding that.
Controls are good, gameplay is extremely responsive and jumps are just the right height to pass barriers in cities.
Will follow this dev team because they know exactly how to do games.
The only bad thing is RTX is not really good handled by the game engine and we cannot enable DLSS with RTX so we need to lower the resolution to play with RTX enabled. (Not really an issue with High-end PCs you can play at 1440p with RTX High without problems at more than 60fps).
Game is not running fine, got a good pc. Problem is, besides the first village, when i look at some directions my fps is getting very low.
Tried to put the game from hdd to ssd and changed a few ingame graphic settings, put the game from fullscreen to window mode, all of ths didnt work to well.
Problem solved.. I didn't have enough space while running setup, so it automatically stopped and disappeared without any warning message and I just thought it finished..
