Can't get past the first act. after act one you can't go to act two, your just stuck on loading

Fairly interesting gamebook feel, but it needs character profiles. Like I made my character and did a run but I can't make a 2nd character to try a different build/choices without nuking the current one which is a disappointing oversight.
