You need to copy the content of the CODEX directory to install directory. Or during installing the game you can check the checkmark "copy the content of CODEX folder" to have the installer do this automatically.
That error is usually due to a missing file, or an inability to install a file. I'm guessing it's because your AV blocked the crack file during the installation. You can exclude it in AV or temporarily disable AV for installation.
NOTE: The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn't! :)
