This game should use normal, bilinear digital art, like Hollow Knight. Using pixel "a e s t h e t i c s" is peak zoomer. That's not what retro games looked like on real CRTs.
Also, the opening credit sequence... So pretentious. They really think this game is hot sh.1t. It's just an example of gamer's lowered standards folks and how we accept day1 patches and stuff. A shallow pixel "demake" of Dark Souls. with unreadable text on lower res devices.

Are you retarded? Did you even read the comment? The game doesn't work well on 1366x768 laptops, the graphics including text are not displayed correctly. It has nothing to do with performance, it's the laziness of the devs who never tested it on anything below 1080p.

You'll find an installer inside the update file, run it and it'll ask you where to download it, make sure that the path file you're going to use is the one where the main game is. Also, tick the box if there's an option "copy the contents of CODEX into your installation path..." that way, you don't have to manually apply the crack to the game. Let me know if it works or not.
I appreciate the effort and sharing but that said wth did you guys put in the steam api? everytime I delete my appdata save, edit it, erase it, it pulls some backup out of its ass and reverts all edits even completely deleting the save folder it just gets restored. where are these backups saved and how do I edit my files in peace without your api edits restricting and reverting everything
it's not as much their api as the original uploader api, if you find one that you like, let's say goldberg emu, you can use that in every game, and all your saves will be saved on appdata/goldberg emu. and if you ever want to buy a game on steam you can use move your old data to steam.
