I FOUND THE SOLUTION MYSELF. WHAT I DID : I went to my steam folder -> steamapps -> common -> added the game's folder Then on steam : bottom left corner -> add non-steam game -> add the .exe -> Just launch the game from there Im not sure if you have to put the game's folder too, maybe you only need to run it through steam but what matters is I got this ***** running flawlessly again. Cheers.

I know how to fix this. Try selecting a different folder it would start installing. If it doesn't work try opening it on winrar then select a different folder to install the game (sorry for bad english)
I have a problem, the game can read my controller, I can move my character, move aim, run and change weapons, but can't shoot or punch in any way, pressing the triggers do nothing.
MASSIVE lag problem So I played this game first in the 1.01 or 1.00 version. Basically when the game released. I decided just now to re-play it bc I never got to finish it. I never had problems with the game, my computer is way more than capable to handle it. But it doesn't for some reason. And here I beg the question, what the hell is wrong? When I start playing the game (I start new game, the cutscene plays) at first it's all fine. It all plays as it should, but then after the truck appears my frames drop harshly and suddenly from solid 60 to 47. Then, when the characters start talking my frames are already down to 20. And, well, when I get to control Hank and start the tutorial, the game is long gone, at aproximately 10 fps or below. In short, the longer I play the game, the less frames I have. For clearance, it works the same in the playground mode too. So anyone has a solution? Is it windows 11's fault? Or something else? Shit I tried: *Playing it in compatibility mode with windows 7. (busted) *Playing as an admin. (busted) *Setting the priority to high. (busted) *Restarting the computer to clear it from additional apps. (busted) My specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500 6-Core Processor 3.59 GHz GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super (4 gigs of dedicated memory, 12 gigs of memory overall) RAM: 16,0 GB Windows: 64 bit
Anyone else experiencing a memory leak at random, or when trying to load into the game from the menu ? This was since the latest update, and putting the folder into steamapps common does not work.
I've noticed this as well, though I didn't have any issues with the previous version (1.03.b) but the new version pretty much rendered the current solution useless, so until this gets fixed (or a new method is found) it's useless to download it.
Everything works perfectly for me, You just need to put the game in steam/steamapps/common/Madness Project Nexus 2 and don't include uninstaller if You did then just delete the file from the game folder, that was the culprit for me. If that somehow didn't helped then, change Your user name in flt.ini as I always change it so I don't know if that also is necessary to do
The file type was .FLT which usually meant it's not gonna be cracked properly (for me at least), but thankfully it got replaced with the .rar file now which is a lot more consistent than FLT
Whenever I try to run the .exe app, it just takes me to the steam page prompting me to buy the game. The method of putting the game folder into Steam's common files doesn't work now. Any solutions?
This version has a major memory leak issue when starting the main campaign. It climbs from 2gb all the way to 10gb and beyond, until it finally crashes. Does anyone know what's causing this?
So... i playe this game... finish the story and now onto arena mode story (this is V1.0 btw...) and for some reason everytime i try to play nexus core arena it keep crashing when try to load the level, any fix? (cuz i don't want to revert V1.2 (reason due to the tinkerer class being nerfed)
It wasn't a disk drive, the game's iso was most likely just mounted. you just open the mounted image and run the setup. After it's done, you simply right click the image and select eject
and also i already did the disk drive thing but now I'm wondering about the new thing in network locations if i should remove it or not or would it damage my pc if i did
I have been having issues with every game cracked by Fairlight. I always receive and error when clicking install. I can't install any game they cracked anymore. Man this game is not good. "Overwhelmingly Positive" on steam yet most if not all the reviews are just meme-posters. Very buggy, has awful design decisions. Krinklez is not a game designer... The OST is great though!
honestly, the game isnt bad, its not at all buggie for me, after having move my files to steamapps/common and it has skyrim like leveling system for you skills, the more you do it the more you improve for arena, and its really fun. shame they never got enough funding to add in that zombie survival mode. prob gonna buy it.
