No need to repeat, Files shouldn't be password protected in any case check if you downloaded correct file (not an ad or something), but if it is correct file look around for readme's.txt
I don't think u will lose your progress. The save file won't be deleted or changed if you install the new version, so don't worry. Just download new file again
After 40+ hours of playing, was able to get the Car Wash to Level 5, which unlocked the Automatic Car Wash option. Total cost was about $34,000( give or take a few thousand). After getting excited and turning it on, I watched it clean the first car that volunteered. Then the customer paid $150. Assuming that my total amount paid is correct, I need to wash 227 cars just to earn that money back.
Considering that I only have to press a button to reset the water pressure every 7-10 washes, MONEY WELL SPENT! :-)
Whenever I get to the stage where the kid is supposed to spray-paint the wall, no paint actually appears on the wall, and when I am supposed to paint over it, even if I paint the entire gas station including the roof, nothing happens, and there isn't a tracker saying how many I've painted over either.
I would hold off on this version (v1.0.1.3778) it has game breaking bugs that will cause you to not be able to progress. A patch was released on the 20th that fixed quite a bit of them so I would wait for that.
Game is to buggy for me to play well. All the bugs that kill me:
Closing the Gasstation while there is a car in the garage will cause it to never drive away what makes the workshop useless
Once while refilling my Jerrycan it stuck and refilled for forever making the fuel station useless
Once I oppened the tool menu while at the cash register and it caused me to freeze there
All bugs could be healed by reloading BUT relaoding resets the progress of a challenge. It also once crashed after I reached level 6 in popularity resetting my progress of the 4th challenge. This is pure frustration. Hope there will be an update.
I get to "It may take a while..." (with "loading" on the bottom right) and then nothing. Opening Task Manager shows it's stopped working. It's a pain (I want to try it)
