after copy the update file to game folder the application file in Tales of Arise\Arise\Binaries\Win64 not launch game but open my steam client to ToA download page instead

Just figured it out. In "Tales of Arise\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv149\Win64\steam_settings\controller\Menu.txt" the following line is missing: "MENU_BASE_START=START". You should also change "MENU_BASE_SELECT=START" into "MENU_BASE_SELECT=SELECT".

also if u dont want to overlevel urself then dont use the level dlc, that literally add into ur level, i just went and activate everything when i started and i got to level 50 since the start lmao. dont do that

Did u add those while the game is running? If u did close the game first. Add those in. Save and close. Then run the game. It should be in the menu after u load ur save. Most right ahould be settinf where u save and load game. Dlc will be there
Remove the write-protection: rightclick on flt.ini file choose properties and uncheck/unmark the write-protection box.then open with note/wordpad,change language, and while exiting it will ask for saving,just save then.

Thank you for the video on the low-end computer! Seems my low notebook gonna be able to play this too. I saw that the game is very playable at 30 FPS. Btw, It was kind of hard to hear your voice because game sounds were higher than you.
Check if you have enough Hard Drive(you need at least 45 GB) in for example Drive C:,otherwise try on a other partition or Harddrive (if avaiable).When you have enough space and its still doesnt work,try to also unpack the game.iso file and start installing. If both doesnt work then maybe you have to download again.

If you're getting a "Fatal Crash...." error when starting the game, try turning off your antivirus (even Windows Defender, etc.) while running the setup or installing the game. In my case, the antivirus deleted some game files during setup/installation.

Yeah I think igg can't make that happened. You would need to contact crack team like Empress and others, so that they make the crack, update it on reddit and IGG will surely update the crack on this site quickly
You surely do a miss manipulation, after downloading the all 13 parts, you just have to decompress them directly in your game folder and its already playable, no crack, no install with a .iso.
Maybe your antivirus delete it, check in the history. If not, you should redownload the all parts (the .exe is maybe not the only missing file).
And if you want add the update v08.04.2022, you have to decompress and place the files in the game folder ("C:/Games/Tales.of.Arise/" for example) BUT DO NOT copy the .exe, let the old one.

I also have a friend who managed to install a different version of the main game from a torrent file but could not get the update to work - like every time those files are copied and replaced the game would just crash. Not sure if it's something you encountered too? In any case, I don't have a working .exe file haha....
Après avoir dézipé toutes les parties que tu as téléchargées, tu dois modifier un fichier en .ini . Depuis le dossier racine du jeu, suis ce chemin : "Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv149\Win64\flt.ini" Tu l'ouvres avec ton logiciel de traitement de texte préféré, et à la ligne "language=english" tu enlève "english" pour mettre "french", et tu oublies pas d'enregistrer. Ce fichier est plutôt relou, il force un enregistrement sous et ne veut pas s'auto écraser, alors avant de faire la manip, je te conseil de déplacer le fichier ailleurs pour le remettre à sa place avec l'enregistrement.

Le seul endroit où tu pourras remapper tes touches, ça sera dans des fichiers .txt à l'écrit (pas très pratique mais pas le choix) Dans "Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv149\Win64\steam_settings\controller" tu as 4 .txt, si tu les parcours un peu tu vois que chaque ligne correspond à une touche, à toi de savoir comment tu veux les changer (réutilise les mêmes mots déjà présent)

first one, let's find a special "controller fix" for Tales of Arise on skidrow for exemple (dont ban me igg, i love u more :3). With this, you will be able to remap into "Tales of Arise\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv149\Win64\steam_settings\controller\battle.txt" (Work for me)
Second one, dl "DS4Windows", its a soft to recognize your controller and emulate your keyboard/mouse into it when the game didn't (or if you use a PS controller like me btw --'). And after you just have to remap into the soft but it can be a bit capricious sometimes.
I know question has been asked a lot, but i get the Fatal error, game will crash when i open the exe file, and nothing happens, do i need to have steam installed to play the game or its not important. Please anyone that managed to fix this problem can give any tips?
If u used Nvidia Graphics card, ooen the Nvidia control panel, then go to Manage 3D Setting, select program setting, select add, find Tales of Arise executable file, then in the 2nd setting ( Specify the setting for this program ) find Max Frame Rate, select on, and set max fps to 30 depending what u want, sorry for Bad English 🙏🏻

Is anyone having issues getting to Lenegis? Whenever I speak with Dohalim on the star ship to travel to Lenegis, the game crashes after showing the cutscene of the ship approaching the planet.
I've tried fiddling with the GameUserSettings.ini file but that doesn't seem to work. I even tried just lowering the graphic settings to its lowest for the hell of it. Has anyone run into the same problem at this point of the game?

I hope it gets an fix update, I get stuttering in battle and frame skips even tough it didn't happen to me in the demo and I had the same settings and even after lowering everything to the minum is still stutters when someone attacks in battle making it basicaly unplayable

Open a file called "Engine.ini" and then add the following: [Internationalization] Culture=en_US Then save and close the file. Make sure you don't delete anything else that was in the file while adding the text above.
If you're having controller problems, there is a fix involving replacing a .dll file which you can find easily by Googling 'Tales of Arise controller not working', though it does tend to make it so the DLC doesn't work, figuring out why or how to fix it is above my paygrade.

Though, be aware, although my controller ran perfectly after I did this, it also somehow made it so I could no longer access the DLC that came with the download from here, and I'm not smart enough to figure out why or how to fix it, so it'll depend on what you want more. DLC or a working controller. The dlc is only a few items and a costume, mind.

- Le seul endroit où tu pourras remapper tes touches, ça sera dans des fichiers .txt à l'écrit (pas très pratique mais pas le choix)
Normalement avec ça tu es tranquille ;)Dans "Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv149\Win64\steam_settings\controller" tu as 4 .txt, si tu les parcours un peu tu vois que chaque ligne correspond à une touche, à toi de savoir comment tu veux les changer (réutilise les mêmes mots déjà présent)

first one, let's find a special "controller fix" for Tales of Arise on skidrow for exemple (dont ban me igg, i love u more :3). With this, you will be able to remap into "Tales of Arise\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv149\Win64\steam_settings\controller\battle.txt" (Work for me)
Second one, dl "DS4Windows", its a soft to recognize your controller and emulate
your keyboard/mouse into it when the game didn't (or if you use a PS controller like me btw --'). And after you just have to remap into the soft but it can be a bit capricious sometimes.

Backup your files to be safe, then download and over files in the games path folder "Tales Arise" Overwrite your "Engine" folder as backing it up.

PS:There is a other way,too:
de-install game,change language of your Windows(System Settings > Region) to english(or language you want),and install the game(the game adapts,if avaiable, to the language of the OS/windows)

tried edit C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\Tales of Arise\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini file and also C:\Games\Tales of Arise\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv149\Win64\flt.ini also not workable
rightclick on flt.ini file choose properties and uncheck/unmark the
write-protection box.then open with note/wordpad,change language and add,if you like, the dlc unlocker files posted above by LegaultCries.
While exiting it will ask for saving,just save then

Though, be aware, although my controller ran perfectly after I did this, it also somehow made it so I could no longer access the DLC that came with the download from here, and I'm not smart enough to figure out why or how to fix it, so it'll depend on what you want more. DLC or a working controller. The dlc is only a few items and a costume, mind.
