Thank You so very much for sharing this fine title, IGG-Games.com [admin]~!
πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

In the second promo video on the game's Steam page (See here), it was mentioned that the game was inspired by Studio Ghibli! I enjoyed many of their full length, anime feature films. "Grave of the Fireflies" (Spoiler alert! If you're going to watch that movie then don't read the "Plot" section of that linked page) really touched me and made me cry, even for the children of a then enemy nation (During WWII). It reminded me of the fragility of life and how sometimes life can be an extremely difficult struggle, despite one's best efforts to try to survive. It's no wonder that the game has so many fine details with vibrant colors. Also, the premise behind the story sounds very promising and should provide for excellent gameplay~!

That movie makes a very good argument against war. No matter what happens in the battlefield among soldiers, there will always be innocent civilians on both sides that will inevitably get hurt. Now more so than ever, as all it takes is for one madman to push a button ...
☹️

It looks like that you, MysteryRomanticGamer and myself are three of the "Old farts" that are in this community. I know of three others (monica, Dazed.N.Confused and Chuck The Cryptid Hunter). Maybe we should all get together sometime and reminisce about the "Good ole' days" from our youth! - Not that I think that I'm really old. After all, "Age is a state of mind" and "You're only as old as you feel."

While the Idea is not new(example:Messiah,a very old game),
I hope the devs will add much more content to this one.
i am definitely looking forward to this one.πŸ€—πŸ€–πŸ€“

I was thinking about the "Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex" PS/2 game where Motoko Kusunagi can "Ghost hack" opponents but I remember the "Messiah" game as well~!

While not exactly a soul taking over a body, in Psi-Ops: the mindgate conspiracy you could mind control a person from a distance. I remember the first-person view mode as your mind drifted towards a person and then you could just enter them. It felt like your soul was really entering them.

I remember playing "Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic" (KOTOR) and mind controlling civilians who were infected with a virus that could possibly turn them into deadly mutants unless the cure was given to them. I had to calm down the minds of individuals long enough to inject them to return them to normal (I played as the Republic scout pilot character who gradually nurtured his own Jedi powers). I remember that it happened in the lowest physical sub-level of a huge city in the Republic.

I thought about Messiah too, and about Geist, Requiem: Avenging Angel and Omikron: The Nomad Soul.

I remember "Requiem: Avenging Angel" - That Demon Queen, Lilith, screeching "Dam Hell!" with a raspy sounding voice always made me feel like someone was scratching chalk on a chalkboard. Also, the scenes where the player had to squeeze through the narrow, twisted caves kind of looked and felt like the player was either getting birthed through a birth canal or pooped out of a large intestine! Bleh~!

There was also another old game on the genesis, Haunting, where you play as a poltergeist that inhabits not people but 'objects' to scare away residents.

Wow, when the Sega Genesis came out in the '90s, I was still using my Commodore 64 as a game machine and just starting to get seriously into IBM PS/2's for programming. Haunting sounds interesting! Maybe I'll check it out with the Kega Fusion EMU and the ROM for "Haunting".
