Am I the only one who got this type of notification from windows defender after downloading the rar file (Trojan:Script/Oneeva.A!ml)? I checked it online and then one source says it a ransomware and the other is an irregular (they didn't describe it fully, and I don't even understand it myself) but this a long time since I got an alert from WinDef AFTER downloading from this beloved site. I suppose it's a false positive but could someone clear this issue?
You can avoid the ads (And the possible malware/viruses that may be injected by the third party ad pages) that are on the file hosting sites by using applications like JDownloader (Freeware) or IDM (Commercial software) instead of your browser. The only caveat with JDownloader is that it works with all of the file hosters listed here except MegaUp. Around February this year, MegaUp decided to no longer share the mapping scheme of their direct downloads, so the JDownloader devs can't update the application to find the exact locations of the direct downloads [Which would bypass the ads] on MegaUp's servers (See -> https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=86812 ). That's no surprise since MegaUp wants people to click on the revenue generating third party ads that are displayed on their service. ๐
as long as you do not download an ad you will be fine, make sure that the size matches the one mentioned on the download site (~145.60 MB in this case)
Yeah, the file size itself is the same as you mentioned, heck, the naming style of the file itself is definitely that type of IGG's as far as my first impression sees it, and it's in rar., which is highly likely unusual of a fake file, which I haven't encountered one in a long time. Also, the title has "Ecchi" in it meaning that it is supposed to be softcore (Unlike "Hentai" which is supposed to be hardcore), so in principle, it doesn't even have to show off any private parts to appeal to its audience (eg. - Pussy covered up by panties usually is not very detailed compared to exposed pussy).
