It's rather irksome that IGG's admins still haven't bothered to adopt a policy of including tags that indicate that the game is still in development. The tags are there. The title can have something in parenthesis. I would conjecture that the admins didn't do their homework, but if they copy-pasta'd shit from the game's store page, they would have seen the labels. That said, thanks for putting in the time to actually check for this. I know I couldn't be bothered to do this for this-or-that fucking video game.
Honestly, so many games now are early access or have a continued development that unless it's put out by a AA or AAA company, it's pretty safe to assume the dev is still working on it, generally. The nature of indie and small studio development is such that a large portion of games are released early, sometimes even without the Early Access tag, to help fund completion. Right now, at least for me, seeing "early access" is really not a reason to avoid a game like it once may have suggested, back when soooo many people were practically just scamming on steam greenlight for a quick buck and then abandoning their project. If a game looks good or interesting nowadays, I almost want to see an Early Access tag because I frequently have the confidence to assume more is coming.
Ooh... The player character has to harvest shit to "feed sacrifices" to the machines, but the most common and easist to reach stuff in the beginning is giving off the light that is keeping the Grue-facsimiles away. The player has to expand outwards while juggling resource expenditure against the addition of (presumably) energy-using light sources. My first thought that this is is some Factorio wanna-be, but it also has elements of Don't Starve.
Oh hey you updated! It's been a loooooooooong time lol.
If you like this game or automation games in general, may I recommend Factorio? It has since become a beloved classic in this genre. And you can play multiplayer too!
